*2025 Collection Predictions*

With the new game only two months away, who do you think will be the Collection rewards in DD?
I hated that they removed the Division collections and made the AL/NL rewards 95 overalls because of the Set/Seasons layout. Also, even though it shared similar flaws, it was going to be tough following The Show 23 as that game offered three brand-new HUGE legends in Sosa, McGwire and Jeter. We got some decent new names this year, but this was the first entry in a very long time where there wasn't that big headliner addition like a Mays or Mantle or Randy Johnson. Would like to hope they have some surprises to reveal in the coming weeks as we get closer to release.
Trying to have fun with it while being somewhat realistic, here are my predictions:
AL: Ichiro (Signature)
NL: Johan (Milestone - No-Hitter)
MLB: A-Rod (Awards - MVP) -
I'd love it, but i do not see anyway Ichiro is back since he has the exclusive rights deal with Japan

I wasn't aware he had some kind of exclusive deal. That would suck if true.
Seems like with the recent influx of names coming over from Japan to join MLB - or at least the Dodgers - it would be cool if The Show added guys like Matsui/Nomo/Tanaka/Dice-K into the mix.
Ichiro would be at the top of that list if possible especially coming right off his HOF induction.

I think with the Dodger collection SDS is going to have to pay Sandy Koufax for his rights.

MLB: BondsI think a guy like Bonds is a stretch due to his well-documented MLBPA situation, but take The Show 23 just a few years ago and nobody would have thought they'd drop three huge names like Sosa/McGwire/Jeter as the Collection rewards. Considering they really didn't add that one premier legend this past year, it's possible we will see a few new headliners for the upcoming game.

I would also like to see them bring back collections for specific card series (Prime, Signature, Awards, etc.)

I hope to never see this ever again I would get 1000 POTM and topps now cards and never enough of another series

I say that every time people say “they won’t ever be in the game”. If I had a dollar for everyone who said that about Sosa and McGwire I’d have a lot of stubs
Truth is NO ONE knows who will be in the game.
