I'm a seasonal player: once the WS is over, I usually don't play ball again until Spring Training.
Been digging the hell out of Space Marine 2 and the Dead Space remake. Better to shoot and chop [censored] up then try and grind away at Programs right now.
But, to each their own.
Once again, I learn something new. I didn't even know about Space Marine 2. I used to paint WH40K figures obsessively (even had a YouTube channel about it), but I kinda fell out of the hobby. Wouldn't mind playing the game this offseason though!

I'm looking for something to play this off-season. Any 2-player games that would be interesting to play with my better-half? I try to get her to play co-op, but, nooooo.

If I drop this game in the winter, I'll go back to my standby, which is Train Sim World. I bought v.5 a couple of months ago, but haven't played it much yet.

I got TSW5 for free. I was able to keep routes I already had like East Coastway and LIRR. A couple of others as well!

I find nhl 24 mindlessly fun

I want to play Dragon Age.....i really do, but they have let me down so many times before.

@LIONED-33_XBL Can't get on board with what I've seen so far regarding DAVG.
I love old BioWare, esp. KOTOR, ME 1, DAO, and Jade Empire (best theme song of all time, amazing writing/dialogue).
Apparently there's no real choice in DAVG -- can't be renegade/evil, it's all flowers and rainbows.
So I'm replaying DAO for the first time in years.

It is definitely an action RPG now and not the turn based combat of the older games you mentioned.
There is not really a choice to be bad but I never go that route anyway so I don't really mind. I am really enjoying the game quite a bit. It is not perfect but it's been fun. There has been at least one choice that made a difference in the short term but I doubt it has any on the ending.

Do you not have 25 yet -
I like Edman too (offline) but he hasn't been the greatest online.
And yeah I was just pointing out how incredible Acuna is attribute-wise, but attributes aren't everything.
For example, the 99 Mantle is obviously great, but he didn't even make my team for the latest Event. I'm terrible with his cards.
It's all personal preference.

@Dolenz_PSN If you've never gone full renegade in ME 1 and 2, you're missing out. It's hilarious.

I have started out runs of RPGs before intending to do an evil run and I always end up not going that route when it comes down to the choices.
It will be interesting to see if this game can pull me back in for the new season. It releases only 3 days after MS Flight Sim 2024. If that program runs even decently on my Series X and PC then it will be tough.

Veilguard's big development push was back in 2018 when Fortnite was exploding. The decision to make what was Dreadwolf at the time a live service gave with Fortnite inspired character models had a disastrous impact on the final product
The environment looks great. The game feels great to play. In terms of quality its a huge leap forward from Andromeda and Anthem.
But its just so tough to take things seriously for me when the character models are just so wrong for Thedas.
The writing isnt good and yes its a step down, but its not like Inquisition's dialog was that good. But the writing combined with those character models...so offputting for meBut as I play more I see more cases of good writing, the quality does improve to a degree.
Right now I feel that its a pretty good game overall and worth playing, but a poor Dragon Age game

Are you on Xbox? I know that TSW has been streaming through Xbox. Anyway, they've let you carry over routes you've already owned ever since TSW1. It's one of the things I like about that game.

Playstaion. I may pay for some of the DLC. I'm sure there will be more released.

Im in the same boat right now. Currently locked in on the COD campaign and multiplayer is good for a few matches a night. I really wish Rockstar would hurry up with that Max Payne 1 and 2 remake
