Information Regarding the New XP Reward Path on 10/11
-
Greetings,
Tomorrow (10/11) we'll be rolling out a new XP Reward Path in the middle of a season for the first time this year. Here is some quick information that will hopefully clear up some questions:
- It will still be Season 3 when the XP Reward Path changes. Season 4 will begin at a later date.
- There will be no headstart rewards for completing Season 3 programs thus far, because the Season is not changing.
- However, we will not be reducing XP rewards in Season 3 programs once the new XP Reward Path starts. This means if you have any Season 3 programs still to finish once the new XP Reward Path is active, you will still receive the full amount of XP, and they will count towards the new XP Reward Path.
- Double XP will be active starting at noon PT on Friday, 10/11, and will run until noon PT on Tuesday, 10/15. This will hopefully help some of you earn those sweet new XP Rewards!
Thank you.

Thanks for the info!

Do we know if we'll still be able to use cards from all seasons to complete TA3 P2 missions?
Or will it now be Season 3 only?
Players from any season will contribute toward Team Affinity Season 3, Chapter 2 missions.

Thanks for the responses to our questions.
I'd also like to say keep up the good work with programs lately. I really enjoyed the Career retrospective program (a return to larger programs finally!) and the way the wild card series was handled. The milb awards programs was also a nice new addition. And the quick turnaround for the Ohtani milestone

For '25, I would like a system that NHL has for objectives tracking. There, we can see in-game if we accomplish a goal, or are, lets say at 11 of 20 shots on goal. An in-game progress bar pops up to show how close we are to completing said goal. In NHL, we can even see progress in the pause menu. If that can be done, it would be so convenient!
-
@TheGoaler_MLBTS yes, this would be great. I have a hundred little stickies with players/teams and stat counts needed to finish the goal. It would be great if there were in-game pop ups.
-
And rollover stats on repeatable missions so you don’t need to quit out and start again. Would be a huge time saver and player friendly move.

That would be a biggie.

Just wanna say I like these posts. Maybe they don’t make everyone happy but the communication makes a big difference.

Thank you. I took a year off and came into this game when PS Plus offered it and now I'm kicking myself for not coming in earlier. I'm having a ball. So thanks to the SDS team for all you do.

Because technically it's still season 3 just the 2nd part of the XP reward path. Plus we get double XP until Tuesday and then double XP AGAIN on Friday so that's 3 weekends in a row with double XP

Yet another defense post that is an overreaction to a seemingly minor expression of disappointment

How do you figure? Like I said it's part 2 of the XP reward path so there is no headstart

It’s funny that people have been brainwashed into thinking double XP is a reward when last year normal XP was the equivalent to or maybe even better than double XP this year. Taking something away only to give it back under the guise of a bonus is pure lunacy. However it’s clearly good enough to fool a decent sized chunk of the player base that feels SDS can do no wrong. I’ll admit I’ve been very critical of this year’s game because it’s done a lot of shady, underhanded, lazy things that in past iterations would have never been a thing. Other sports games have set the bar so painfully low that SDS decided to see how far they could push things before long time players revolted.
