I don't think they can put them up for any more than that.
The reason there is none of these cards on the market is because there are currently 811 people who have put in buy orders for 1,000 stubs. Because sellers cannot sell a common for more than that they simply sell to one of the existing 1000 orders.
The number of orders has increased since my last message 7 hours ago so I once again urge people to put in their buy orders for 1,000 and get in line before the line potentially gets longer. There are currently over 1,300 buy orders for 900 or more stubs.
There have been 14 sold in the last 17 minutes since I refreshed the page. If that rate continues you could have your card tomorrow morning if you put your order in now. There is no benefit to waiting unless you just refuse to spend 1000 stubs on a common.

I got him last night, finished off the live series. This is the earliest I've ever completed the LS, now I'm rolling with house money from here on out.

It's not nonsense. It makes perfect sense.
Are they supposed to just gift everyone the card?
I can't seem to check the market right now to see if there is still a backlog but if you had put in a 1000 stub order yesterday at this time then there is a good chance you would already have the card.

Okay the market is back up for me. There are still
805 orders for 1,000
564 orders for 999There were 21 orders fulfilled between 2:00 pm and 2:10 pm central time. At that pace it would take a new order only 13 hours to rise to the top so put in your 1000 stub order and by tomorrow morning you could have the card.
I'll reiterate that if you are simply waiting for there to be a copy where you can use the "Buy Now" option then it will take a whole lot longer.

@Sarge1387_PSN general question prompted by this… how many stubs do people have? No money players only. I’ve flipped cards consistently since the start, completed Live Series and 176 of the 200 S3 cards I need for the third boss (with various wildcard ones to get), but have about 2.2M stubs - yet somehow I’m worried to spend them on a 100k+ card!! Am I mad?

I have around 460K in stubs. I am no money spent and I do not invest or flip cards. But the only cards I have purchased were Cardinal cards that have been in packs or were rewards for online modes. Oh, and I bought a few random S1 cards to finally get enough to collect Lou Brock.

@SJR15ITFC_PSN I have at least 10+ million in stubs and dupes no money spent. I don’t even flip anymore.

I'm sitting on a tidy 420k, some minor flipping etc. I've got enough now that I can buy a specialty pack here and there and make some more by selling just to get the cards I want instead of relying on pack/reward luck. No $ spent either

And for those complaining about Edgardo Henriquez...
It looks like the backlog of orders is shrinking. There are no more 1000 stub buy orders and only 123 orders for 999. So a 1000 stub buy order should get you one within a matter of minutes.

For the moment, I refuse to pay 1000 stubs. I'm hoping the market collapses on this one soon and we get "buy now" offers that make sense soon.

If you still need him, put in a buy order for 1000. I'll sell him to you but all the buy orders in now are at 999

You can literally make that 1000 stubs pack on your next BIAH pack.

@SJR15ITFC_PSN I just counted an hour ago. With all my investments at quicksell value, all the S1, S2 and S3 cards I haven't collected and current stubs, I have just over 7M stubs. That's not including all the stubs I've used buying the S1, S2 and S3 cards that I have collected and the packs and packs I've bought with little return.
I bought the deluxe version, no other money spent. Lots of investments that paid off early, then selling and reinvesting. Decent pack luck, and finishing every offline program, showdown, conquest, etc.
Only minimal online rewards, now that I have a PS5 I'm thinking of jumping on ranked and BR and trying to play out the programs. Playing online on Switch is very difficult.

If you're not in a hurry and willing to be patient then wait. It is inevitable that the price will drop as the supply exceeds the demand.
I just checked. We are down to on 6 bids at 990 stubs as the top buy orders. Now there are still several thousand orders well above quick sell price so it all depends on how much you are willing to spend or how long you want to wait. There have been about 27 sales between 3:00 and 3:13 my time so the demand is slowly being met.

8 hours later we are down to 551 stubs as the top buy it now price for Edgardo Henriquez.
Although there are 685 orders at 500 stubs that will need to be waded through.
