Small Update - Career Tribute Program Moments Changes

Make video games difficult again.
-
This is just sad.
-
If they went back to giving us more ways to complete programs, this would never be necessary. Give the more skilled players a way to do it faster, but give a different longer grind to the people who can’t or don’t want to try the more difficult tasks.

Didn't they have that in...'22 I think was the last one? Online guys could do it in 25 TB, and offline grinders could do it in 50 TB. Basically whatever it was online to complete was doubled for offline.
No idea why they got away from that, steer people towards online games.
-
@Sarge1387_PSN This game has gone backwards in many respects.

Why won't you stop complaining and be thankful for the update?
Thanks for the update!
He does have a point though.

While I dont necessarily have an issue with online play getting faster progress, they need to evolve to modern gaming and really embrace that many players, likely a majority, don't want to play online.
I know online players love to feel superior, and would not be opposed to slightly higher versions of cards being online rewards, but pushing people to play online is frankly bad game design.
The show is still fine for offline only, but the reduction in offline content this year does make me question if 2024 will be my last year.
-
I didn't think the moments were all that hard when I did them. I guess everyone gets a trophy.
-
Karens of the world unite!
-
If it has now become easier I want a bonus(for me and everyone else)that did the 8 TB

Oh neither do I...I'm pushing for them to bring back the ability of offline gamers to be able to complete all the programs offline, even if it's still double what online players need
-
I cant believe people are actually getting entitled about this. Trashy behavior.
-
What a great decision
I luckily finished it but I am happy for those who were struggling
-
Well I hope the decision was made due to hard data and not just internet complaints.
I wonder if they have data showing how many more attempts were made it at least the percentage of those who tried and failed.
I am happy for those who can now complete it but a little miffed that I spent some of my playing time over the weekend completing them all in their original form
I remember countless sessions, measuring hours of my time trying to get 10 TB on all star with Pujols so that I could earn a single Jim Edmonds card in moments extreme years ago.

Correct. A Chase pack. 100K stubs 🤪
This isn't good. They're not impossible tasks. It could even make a casual player better, bearing down and getting the 8 each done.
They probably received many tearful e-mails on this and caved...... -

Either it's "rewarding" to challenge yourself to do difficult things, and that's reward in itself. Or it "sucks" to waste hours of your time trying the same challenge over and over again, and you should get extra head pats for going through that.
You guys should probably make up your minds about which it is. -

Of course they did. People are so quick to give up on themselves so they message the devs and try to make them feel like assholes for making something "impossible". Of course "impossible" to some people means trying something once or twice, not getting it done and quitting.. Granted it wasnt the easiest moment ever created but it definitely wasnt impossible. Once you can get out of your own head, stop swinging at trash and focus, it's done. The CPU will ALWAYS give pitches to hit as long as you dont chase 3 straight out of the zone.

But others do. I am kind of in a weird spot on this one. I am absolutely for difficulty settings for single player games but I can also understand the mindset of those who are a little miffed about this.
It's like buying a new product on Friday for $100 only to learn that the company cut the price to $50 on Monday. Granted, we are talking time instead of money here, but how many hundreds, if not thousands of hours were collectively spent by the community getting those last 4 bases for both of those guys?
Plus, it is bad for SDS. Now people may go "I am going to hold off on these moments to see if they make them any easier."
