Completely agree 100%! Too many people who don't understand what accountability is. When you pay money for a product or service you expect a basic level of functionality!

Yes but we’re now a month into a game with a general eight to nine month life cycle. If it doesn’t get fixed for a while yet, as we’ve seen literally nothing to indicate it will, at what point have you lost so much time playing the broken version we currently have to put up with that your purchase becomes terrible value for money? They haven’t even acknowledged any of the issues, much less shown intent to fix them. It could have been a huge year for MLB The Show with all the interest due a lack of real baseball, but this really ought to be an embarrassment to have the game in the public eye in its current state for Sony and SDS. If they’re not feeling embarrassed, they have no shame. They should make them play HoF in the players league, after a few successive 19 inning 1-0 games with 50 strikeouts are decided by a diamond outfielder being hit in the head with a can of corn on live stream, we might see some progress.

The effect these stimulus checks have had on the market are insane!!! Just in a couple days card have sky rocketed.

when I got the money I wanted to finish the AL collection (only need Paxton) but my wife wanted a new couch. Guess who won? Oh well, at least I’m still employed and I haven’t looked at my 401K so I can pretend there’s still money there

Yea I needed just 5 cards left from 3 teams. Got em done last night. When I checked the market this morning I almost spit out my tea. Prices are absurd. SDS is as happy as a pig in $#*t

I am sorry, but being selfish during this time of crisis really shows what kind of person you are. People get a free paycheck and decide it is best to use it on non-essentials (stubs is a great example). There are people who are business owners and will have to shut down and wont be able to pay their bills but it's okay because you get to spend 1.2k on stubs and get your collections done on a video game.

Stimulus checks are to stimulate the economy. Influence people to buy products to help businesses. It’s not just for essential things. That wasn’t even what the government intended it to be for.

Ur a clown for ur remark. I am a essential worker who works, so the stimulus check is for relief of any kind. It's my money, so dont worry about how I or anyone spends their money. And u must be a complete fool of u havent read by now, I only needed a 5 players across 3 different teams to finish. No one spend an entire 1200 on stubs. Are u mental? Lol. Worry about u and ur family and not how I got a $150 worth of stubs with my money. U have no idea who supports small businesses and who doesnt. Shows the type of person u are for trying to pass judgment with NO knowledge of a person or their situations. I work, I got money, I got a stimulus check, took 150 and got stubs. Sorry for doing that with my money. U need a life bud, u here policing people's money. Ur a sad person

Don't let other people bother you. As someone said, it's not meant for just "necessities", it's meant to kickstart the economy.
Some people will never get that and it's not worth arguing with them about it.

I'm not spending a dime of this on stubs, but so what if someone else does. You sound like a hurting business owner, and for that I'm sorry. You live in a capitalistic society, people spend their money where they are most tempted. The best products win. During a shutdown like we are experiencing, the winners are usually those who can offer entertainment and a diversion from our current real world problems.

Correct my brother. U brought some much needed positive vibes here. I cant believe all day in the forum, many different post about stubs, and ppl getting judged cause they got stubs. Lol. It's crazy how hateful ppl are. Smh. I've seen atleast three other post from other gamers that finished collections cause they got the check and ppl immediately assume they spend the entire check lol. So sad
