Show 25 Ideas

Show 24 has gotten better with content as of the last month and I know we're happier than we were but still sick of sets and seasons. I think in 25 we should incentivize using different cards while having the option to use whatever cards u want all year. By parralleling multiple cards at a position u get a boost for more parralleled cards at the position or team and unlock other cards that are better, also having captains to the speed parrallel progress to help this process. Not making this the only way to unlock good cards but for some cards and many players will do it and some wont. Also Duo or trio teammate cards, father and son or slugger mate cards like Soto nd Judge, Ramirez nd Kwan or Arod and jeter nd many other players that have played well together through the years and they'll boost each other, also doing the same with pitchers. This will cause more mixing of lineups and cycling players to complete parrallels for boost and card upgrades nd players will be motivated to use diffrent cards. I understand sets and seasons is to push using different cards but it hasn't been great but i understand why its in the game.

I think for the average gamer this game isn't it. It's good for the diehard baseball fans that also love video games but The Show has more problems than content or sets and seasons.
I can't get even one of my friends to play this game any more. The gameplay is pretty friking bad from a pure gaming perspective. It's unpolished and unrewarding in almost every regard.I love the game. And I see the potential it has however, the dev team is very limited to what it can do and there's not been a quality gameplay play update since........pffftt I can't even think of one.
Even if they "improved" content or sets and seasons they will get hate for the gameplay. No regular experienced gamer will be picking up The Show and being satisfied with it's gameplay and input system.
I don't think I've ever complained about content even when it's low or non-existent. I don't buy stubs and I can't play enough to earn even a third if the cards they do drop every now and then.

they should have a "Double PXP" captain where the only bonus is Double PXP, would incentivize more time played with certain cards. Not double season pass xp, just PXP.

Ditching the Seasons disaster and going back to Innings, as well as reverting Game XP back to previous year's levels would be a good start. All the XP thing did this year was mildly inconvenience the hardcore grinders.
That being said I'm within shouting distance of my first boss pack...only 81k to go til I get my HoF Roy Halladay. I might. MIGHT get a sniff of the wheel too if Double XP stays on until the end of this week.. But that's because I saw the Halladay cards, and knew I needed at least all three Docs so my dedication was there this season.

Making Lineup construction even more convoluted and exploitable isn't it. Parallels were a great way to reward using cards, but unless you're a hardcore Ranked player, there's zero incentive to use a card after you P-5 them.
Get rid of captains (which were just a sop to appeal to Jeter) and just let us play.

@SaveFarris_PSN I don't mind captains. I like the idea at least in the sense you can target a deck build and have a team with some personality.
I can see the hate behind them but I don't see it being a core problem or even remotely close to a big issue that needs a total overhaul or removal. Absolutely agree it's a little wonky or busted BUT the idea and building behind it I think is great.
