The sliding mitts may come next year I bet, there is no need to do an update if nothing is wrong with the game

You get to the point in time where you start ramping up for the next years game. I think overall this years game is good and now SDS can just add to the game for next year. I have not problems with them just putting out roster updates.
Overall I think MLB The Show was a good game that provided everyone a enjoyable time. Let us now all work toward next March for and more beefed up game with some new twist and turns added in.

I wouldn't say it passes that threshold into "good"...I'd say it's been more middling than good...but certainly not bad.

There's a TON of room for overall improvement. Simple things like updating the creation suites.

Stadium Creator needs what a couple of us have coined "building block" props(club seating, smaller seating blocks for the outfield, adjustable foul territory, angled seating as opposed to rounded)

Uniform creator needs a bit more control and freedom as it hasn't been updated in years.

Gameplay wise the fielders need some more urgency, specifically the outfielders when approaching balls on the ground...they completely out of your control will slow down, more often than not allowing the runner to advance

Hitting needs some tweaking...IMHO, there's a lot of times where the sound doesn't match the result
