Gwynn's 3,000th Hit Celebration Program - Mission Updates
-
Greetings,
We've updated several missions within the Gwynn's 3,000th Hit Celebration Program.
"PXP w/ Padres" and "PXP w/ 95 OVR All-Star Gwynn" were not intended to be repeatable, and the "repeatable" mission text has been removed.
We've also changed the "Hits w/ Padres" mission to reward 15 points (previously 4) in order to improve progress for those who were expecting the above missions to be repeatable.
Text has also been updated for any missions requiring All-Star Series players, noting that 2024 All-Star Series and All-Star Game Series are not included.
Thank you.

Thank you for responding about this

How about the actual gameplay of the game? Anything?
-
I’d prefer to do the repeatable missions than the 50 hits with padres

Whats wrong with the gameplay?

A fair amount of things in this game, regarding the gameplay.

Lol... always somebody. They are working on future games. I suppose they could just pop in and hit the "fix every game play issue" button. I kid, but people really believe that these type of things are simple. How many more copies would fixing game play this year sell compared to possible new features in future games?

And then those same people wonder why the devs don't interact with the players more often.
Back in the day Ramone and several of the other devs used to post and interact on the Operation Sports forums fairly often but each year saw them deal with more abuse. Threads would go quickly off topic as everyone felt they had the right to derail the topic with their own personal gripes, kinda like this thread.

Then all I can say is don't play then

This is actually pretty comical but typical in today’s society. A person is entitled to their opinion but as soon as they have something to say that others don’t agree with then woah, watch out. People should be able to voice their opinions, concerns, issues with problems they have. In fact I think in might actually go the other way. If we did in fact hear back from the developers with explanations on our issues, topics, concerns, etc, maybe people would be less likely to criticize certain aspects of this game. Sometimes when your given an answer or feedback, even though things may not have been changed, it can still bring clarity to a situation.

That's a child's take. Grown ups understand that maintaining a little decorum is important. While anyone can pop off and say just about anything they'd like, however they'd like to say it, there are consequences to that. Being an a--hole to someone carries with it the consequence of people telling you you're an a--hole, or worse, but if the offended person is in a position where doing so would reflect poorly on their company, they just stop interacting.
One person being an a--hole often ruins things for everyone.
Tone matters.

Your statement is a contradiction of the point your trying to make, very child like.
