Well, they aren't gonna leave his talent on the bench. I don't buy into the clubhouse stuff. In Miami he had to be the the face of a franchise with no fans or willingness to put together a competitive team. I'd be disgruntled too. He won't have to be that in the Bronx. My only concern is his health but thats a concern with almost everybody
-
Everyone has already said that there is no where for him to play and last I checked he only plays 2 positions and he wants to move back to 2nd full time but they already have someone there. And the only reason why you even got him is because everyone dropped out from getting him him because of his attitude
-
This guarantees that SDS will continue to over value him and give him good cards since he is a Yankee now.

Gleyber Torres is far from a sure thing. He has had a very poor season so far, but been decent enough recently to accumulate a little trade value. There is a chance he isn't even on the team in a few days.
They didn't give up much in return and Jazz is still young/cheap enough to have a good amount of upside. If he takes to Yankee Stadium like Didi did it could be a good matchup with his swing. Time will tell.
-
I would think he'd take to Yankee stadium, they classify him as good hit tool with some pop, but that is in dead air cavernous Marlins park.
a (much)smaller park where the ball flies......yeah,hell do ok. -
He sure had an eventful first game as a Yankee! I think he'll be OK there.

For sure an eventful first game and an epic second game. Love this move

He had a good game on a night everyone hit the ball hard. His 2nd HR came off a catcher - let's pump the breaks a bit
Although SDS will now give him a 99 prime mint diamond card
-
He also adds more speed and aggressive base running….
-
No brakes
-
I think he locked up a Topps Now card with his performance over the last two nights.

I'll take my place in the corner for now - but I'm still skeptical

We'll see. Topps now are more for single game performances and he did get one for his debut, the single and stolen base.
I am still betting on Tommy Pham, whose 1st at bat for his new team was a Grand Slam.
Of course, now that I think about it, I really should never bet against SDS favoring not only Jazz Chishom but Jazz Chisholm as a Yankee.

Even if it's only for one game, I think his 3 hit/2 HR/5 RBI performance last night kinda justifies it.

They very well could. The first step of the process is to see if Topps gives him a Topps Now Card today. He got one for the first game. He got a combo card (with Judge) for the next one. Will they give him one for the 3rd straight day? I don't pay enough attention to actual Topps Now releases to know their process. In the end, like SDS, they release these cards to make money.
But remember, if SDS releases a Chisholm or Pham (or both) Topps Now card it will probably be next Friday as I believe they are a week behind the actual releases.

Give it time everyone will hate him
-
Yeah, he's off to a hot start to be sure, but lets see how things go in a larger sample size than 3 games.

This was coming from a Phillies fan, I think @sbchamps17_NSW is biased here.

Hey I'm just saying what every media guy is saying, they have no need for him and no place for him to play. He's not cutting it at third base and he just wants to play 2nd but can't
