Seasons in Ranked

So I barely play the game but once in a while I get the itch to play ranked. I go to Ranked and it says my team doesn’t meet season 2 requirements?? When I figured out how to change it I only have live series players I can use. What was the point of changing how ranked works? Why can’t I use all my cards that I have? If I’m not mistaken, it seems that you have to constantly play to earn cards that are playable for each season? What happened to me taking a month off and being able to still use my team that can compete in ranked? If this is the way diamond dynasty is going to work going forward, I guess this will be my last MLB the show game…

Hopefully it will because you complain about a thing that everybody besides you knew before the game came out

The amount of people who are not able to read the in-game-texts and then start to cry about is just so annoying, though you are right

@YOSHI24_XBL yes, I am so sorry that I do not play video games on a regular basis or watch the show youtubers much haha. I barely bought last year's game with like a month left and then bought this one and barely played it because I am usually busy doing other stuff so yes, I must be the only person who didn't know the new way that Ranked seasons is. Next time you comment, maybe have something useful to say instead of being rude because someone does something else besides video games. Have a great day!

@AdeptOfMemory_PSN thank you! Ya, I guess as someone who just plays once in a while, diamond dynasty won't be something I will be doing going forward unless the sets and seasons format changes.

@Cannon2091647_XBL thank you! I don't keep up with the show like I used to during covid times and bought the game last year with like one month left before this year's came out. I don't watch the show content creators much, don't follow the show on social media so I didn't know the new format of sets and seasons so was surprised that I wasn't able to use most of my cards in ranked after not playing for a while. Now I know that the game isn't for me anymore it's something I'm going to need to put a whole lot of time into.
