Which stadium/park does everyone use in DD?
I usually stick to Shippet and Bayfront bc of the friendly hitting backdrop. Any suggestions and reasoning? -
Many people use Shippet because of the altitude, it is a minor league Coors field. I myself am more of a pitcher, and dread the games at Shippet. I usually play at Nats because I like the stadium and not a ton of balls to center field go out unless they are perfectly hit.

I use Statesman for the same reason, I like the batter's eye there.
I will never use an MLB stadium and I will automatically ask for a friendly quit if I'm away at an MLB stadium. There is undeniably a noticeable reduction in frame rate that makes it harder to see the ball. SDS claims to have fixed this last year but they haven't (I know, shocker)

*Crosley. And yes this stadium is good too, it really limited speedsters from triples and I feel like balls have to be hit perfect or squared to go out, since its about 500 feet of elevation compared to a staggering 3000+ feet at Shippet.

Barnes Canyon seems to be the same dimension and as Coors but without the altitude. I find it to be a nice pitcher's park. I also like The Porch.

Laughing Mountain is my fav.
-
why do people use shippet instead of laughing mtn since laughing is only 2nd in the game to elevation?
-
I like Bayfront, at night, any month, overcast skies..
I’ve always had a thing for amusement parks..
-
Sometimes I run Capital field as the backdrop is just a mountain of grass

I don’t think capital field is what you’re talking about.

Camden Yards. The most beautiful park in the world! And that's from a huge Boston homer.

That's where I play out of as well. I enjoy it there.

I do the same, brother. When I get angry, I just look at the bright Ferris wheel instead of throwing my controller through the wall!

Oh okay. You meant the batters eye is just grass lol. I thought you were talking about the park that just has green mountains in the actual background.
