IS IT ME

Since CFB (College Football) dropped I've been having a hard time getting back into the show. I like the game and don't have a problem with it but my attention has shifted. Is anyone else having the same situation like me.
-
its not just you , im buying time until october when COD gets released and have no other lazy day game to fall back on and its getting harder and harder to get past a couple games at a time even with a whole week of double XP
-
Ok good to know im not the only one lol. And yea im waiting for cod as well
-
I only play the show. Not much of a gamer. And I’m growing tired of the show. I’ve seen a drop in server quality. More vertical screen tearing and more lag. Defensive meters being delayed and overal just a lack of investments into the servers. I think SDS has taken this year as a loss. And minimal investment will be pushed from here on out. Gameplay wasn’t ever good. It’s gotten worse in my opinion
-
Very much the same on my end and I have great internet.
-
I played CFB a ton for the first 2-3 days and then came back to The Show for now. CFB is a fun game, but EA still pulled an EA and there are too many issues to get started with a Dynasty yet. I'll give it some time to see if they can fix the bugs before going back to it.
-
@RAisEdByGoAt_XBL Mmmm ok this is my first year back to the show since '21. I've seen a lot of people complain about this year as a whole and it seems to keep getting worse. Where do you rank this years game amongst the rest?

It’s the worst game they’ve released content wise and gameplay wise since 2018
-
They could bandaid 24 very well by removing set restrictions and the XP cap and actually make the game better by 25. Bugs and glitches galore but that's not getting fixed any time soon. Need to start from the ground up.
-
I agree start from ground up is their only option. There is too many gameplay issues. Sets and seasons is whatever for me but a long grind. I’m 34 and [censored] my woman off on the daily over this game if o pit more than an hour into it. Add that with actual baseball screen time and I’m in the dog house no kitty for a week. I think 21 was a solid game and honestly I enjoyed 23 though it was also a [censored] show. There’s no more community support and a lot of ads staff laid off. I actually don’t believe there will be a 25. But I hope I’m wrong.
My main issue with this games and its been the case since I can remember is the vertical screen tearing right after hitting. I play on a 65’ oled c9. Very good tv. And I can’t seem to get the game to run smooth without it seeming like the transition from hit to field feels like a broken old school video tape trying to flip the reel. It feels like the [censored] games gonna crash for a split second everytime

From a DD perspective, 2024 is a monumental leap backwards from 2023
And 2023 wasn't exactly the best received rendition2023 had quantity and quality of content and cards. 2024 outside of this last week was devoid of either.

What? A shiny new, highly anticipated game that has been out less than a week is more enticing than the one that has been out for 4 months? The one you have already probably dropped hundreds of hours into playing?
Say it ain't so.
Even in the years when people say SDS had the best content the vast majority of players, at some point, moved on to the next new shiny game, whether that is Madden, NBA2K, CFB, or one of the myriad of non-sports games that get released months after the show.
It is a minority of the player base who plays this game week in and week out to the exclusion of all others, even in the best years.

MLBTS is still my game. CFB 25 is just a good casual game for me and I doubt that their Dynasty mode will keep my interest long. The fact that I cannot custom create my recruits in Dynasty is a bummer, and I refuse to play another ultimate team (other than DD). I may jump into COD in the fall, but their strict SBMM has ruined that game for me.
-
I switched to CFB 25 and haven’t put it down yet. Played UT the whole weekend and built a decent team nms. Omg the packs are expensive so I’ll be nms the entire time but it was fun getting away from the repetition of MLB. I started the conquest USA map the week prior and like 80% done and probably could’ve finished it over the weekend but wanted to play with the shiny new toy instead.
-
I found Jedi Survivor was free with EA play so I actually played that most of the weekend, if for nothing but a re-set of my brain. Came back for MLBTS a bit last night. Sometimes you just need a mental break from games, switch it up etc
-
I take lots of breaks throughout the year. Even though this game will have the most hours played by the end of the year it is very rarely my most played game in any given week.
-
CFB is trash and CUT is complete garbage. The show is light years ahead of that mess

I hope SDS pays you well to post in the forums
-
@Tylerslikewhoa_XBL remember when you could say the show was #1 and not like #72
-
@Sarge1387_PSN EA play is awesome. A lot of games get boring after 10 hours. That’s all you need for quite a few. And more than enough to see if you wanna buy it.
