Been playing for a decade, on this site for as long. Im probably not making it to Summer this year! This is crazy. The Seasons thing is trash. And My last 2 RS games. Was up 11-1 in the 3rd before losing 17-15. And just now losing in 10 inn in a game I had a perfect game going with 2 outs in the 7th and a 5-0 lead. Lost 11-5. RNG was always decently under control, but now it isnt. Only good thing is we got a lot of good games coming out soon. But man I loved this game. Wish they didnt kill it.

The blown leads sound like a skill issue to me.
-
@WetBub you bet, explains it all after 10 years!
-
Don’t BS it’s not a skill issue. We’ve all had issues with this this year more specifically. I’ve played multiple games where I’ve hit 3 to 4x more goods than someone who could foul everything then suddenly knows how to hit when runners are on bag from 99 defensive errors. I’ve blown games from simple grounders being fumbled from my infield in the absolute opportune time. I’ve seen countless times where if the game is close going into the 9th ur best bet is to be down a run or two. Some hits just place better or sail a lot further or defense makes errors. The games comical this year. Quit trolling this dude

@RAisEdByGoAt And that is the minor stuff
-
@chuckclc What stadium on what difficulty did you play in those games?
-
I want a bailout RNG win just once.
I've had opponents bail me out by letting their starter in too long or using one of the relief pitchers we've seen in many, many games already though.
-
Games are at least 50% luck at this point
-
Giving up a 10 run lead is not a game issue lol

In this forum, apparently giving up a 10 run lead means SDS has a personal vendetta and they rigged the game against you lol. Its the ONLY explanation.
-
I’ve come back late several times and it’s not about RNG. For me, it’s usually about warming up so to speak. It’s about settling in and taking pitches. It’s about learning a player’s tendencies. Sometimes it’s about a particular starter I have trouble with.
-
I'm sorry you are getting flamed my man. Don't quit and let them make you angry on these forums. I would say something went wrong in your game but I can't tell you what it was. I know there's a ton of RNG and if you're not using pinpoint and zone you're opening yourself up to being demolished by the RNG and quirks of the other team.
Some quirks make the players insanely good in the last few innings of the game. I have a feeling your players just got a bit deflated and lost to the RNG and quirks. Which I would say SDS needs to work on but I wouldn't know where to begin and if that was why you lost.
-
@GoozeFn But he has a massive lead is what he's saying. He did well until late game. Warming up already happened. He already had the mechanics to keep the game going.
-
@AdeptOfMemory Not really though. It was the 3rd inning. He scored 8 and 3 in consecutive innings and his opponent scored 6 and 6 in consecutive innings right after that. How is one RNG and the other isn’t? I know it’s easy to blame the game, but it’s not like dude scored 10 in the bottom of the ninth to win.

Because people in here like to think that they when they put up big runs, its all skill....when their opponent does it, they gotta be cheating or SDS rigged the game for them.

@Easy_Duhz_It_ Yeah, I could be off for most of the game, dropping my PCI, swinging at everything and all of a sudden it clicks, I start putting the PCI on the ball and taking bad pitches. I haven’t seen anything that suggests some mystical come back mechanic. I don’t like to lose either, but I’m not going to blame it on the game.
-
@GoozeFn If you read what I said RNG and quirks indeed matter ESPECIALLY when using not using zone and pinpoint. I don't advocate blaming the game in most cases. If a player is losing only in the last few innings of the game and quirks take into effect ie night player or game stopper etc if a player is playing against CPU then the game will indeed take a drastic turn and benefit from quirks and RNG.
Sure, he probably isn't doing well but I think the frustrations are still real. I don't think he said what he is using or what difficulty it was on so we don't know all of the facts and can only go by his word.
I think the first thing to ask are what I've described THEN you can rule out skill or RNG and quirks.
What sucks is for him and many others they expect results from making good contact and good timing but the game just kinda decides when those stats are arbitrary or not. He seems to have been experiencing this and not getting the results the game is leading him to believe he should be getting. If I'm not mistaken this is all done against CPU in his case..... -
@Easy_Duhz_It_ he was playing the CPU if I'm not mistaken.....
-
@AdeptOfMemory there’s less RNG using analog than there is using pinpoint lol
-
@AdeptOfMemory Pretty sure it was ranked, but I could be wrong. Quirks working as designed are not RNG. I just don’t see the RNG people blame their losses on.
