Is there anyone left that actually plays "baseball"

@VioletNine9 any ball where a batter swings and misses is a strike doesn’t matter where it’s thrown

I just played a clown at his created stadium with max elevation. He let all the animations run, bunt danced, R2d me and replay his 90mph EV homeruns… He was beating me 1-6 but then the game decided he had enough runs off bad contact and started rewarding me… Dude dashboarded when I hit the homerun to take an 8-6 lead, it is so pathetic out there with these bums… BTW, his logo was offensive so I reported it, I hope he gets banned

@VioletNine9 you could throw 100% of your pitches out of the zone if someone is going to keep swinging at them. MLB pitchers throw pitches in the strike zone because most hitters will stop swinging if every pitch is out of the zone.
Unless you're Javier Baez and you'll just flail at every pitch that leaves a pitchers hand. Which is what most of the people who complain about pitches being thrown out of the strike zone do.

None of this stuff happened after you get to the high 700 and up.

Or is the majority of the people playing online the ones with a 'win at any cost' attitude?
Out of my last 8 online games I've faced someone that has done one, if not all, of the following:
- holding R2 after EVERY pitch
- bunt dancing
- throwing in the dirt
- quick pausing, when pitching, after EVERY pitch
- bunting with speed runners
- taking extra steps with speed runners so you waste your two step offs
- plays in the pouring rain
I'd just like, won or lose, to play an H2H gsbw where skill decides the outcome of the game.
Why is throwing in the dirt bad? You don‘t have to swing.
And leading off the bases? Or playing in rain? -
@Tylerslikewhoa bruh after 700 rating it gets like 10x worse lol
-
Occasional bunting is fine. I'll drop a drag bunt with Lou every now and then because that's what Lou should do. But if I show bunt once and whiff/foul I'm swinging rest of at bat.
I'll occasionally load up an opened dome in the rain
I dont understand bunt dancing. It seems to always be by people with questionable names or logos.

Throwing in the dirt is very much baseball and it’s very much baseball to have a good eye and take those pitches and make your opponent throw strikes
If you’re swinging at balls in the dirt then I’m throwing balls in the dirt… and that’s baseball
MLB pitchers throw like 80% strikes this game is trash online
this doesn’t make sense. They throw mostly in the zone bc they know professional baseball players mostly have good eyes
They aren’t going to throw balls in the dirt bc they know it’s a waste
This is a video game and majority of my opponents aren’t pro ball players
So again if you swing at balls in the dirt in a video game then I’m pitching you balls in the dirt.
Why in the world would I pitch you something in the zone when I know I can get you out with pitches in the dirt?
