Wondering if those who are tired of simming actually remember how slow this process used to be?
It does not negate the feelings of those who don't like it but the simming used to be so much slower.

Conquest might be the stupidest mode in the game

Their Seasons format is causing a lot of unintended issues for them. A power creep works best with their previous Innings format. They gave us Seasons last year as a way to support "99's Day 1"... That was a flop, so they took away the 99's Day 1 (thankfully), but unfortunately, kept Seasons.
We want to sprint through CH 3 because we know these cards will expire. But to support a power creep, they adjust things that makes the game not fun and the rewards take too long to acquire.... (Such as only 2 vouchers for completing Showdown Extreme, or slow progressing Conquest games where the Bronze CPU Pitcher is throwing 2-3 Balls per AB and painting corners with seemingly 60 mph Curveballs, etc.).
If they are going to keep the power creep next year, then they need to go back to their Innings format.

Yes! This would be awesome. They could have one mode that's just against current MLB teams, and then an "Extreme" mode that is against all-time teams. They could have a version of the White Sox that has Griffey and Lofton and Gossage and Alomar and whoever else. Or they could have theme teams that show off some interesting lineups using the captains. Or "All Time Contact Hitters" or "All Stars of the 50s" or any number of different fun lineups. The way they do it right now makes Mini Seasons kind of boring. I love the idea of Mini Seasons, but I feel like the execution is just kind of a dud.

My issue is all of a sudden the AI in Conquest is back to how it was pre-23. The newest one battles like life or death when I'm just trying to clear the map after beating all the strongholds. It's such a pain. I swear they are just pushing offline people to online everywhere in the game.
What the heck hapoened?

I just realized too there is no team affinity xp it’s just season 1 and bosses xp

By the time I got to the Yankees area on like turn 18 they had 18 reinforcements in every territory on the outer ring. It was very annoying

Right??? I thought it was just me. On top of that I would sim say 65-18 and I'd come away with the win like 37-0 and have to keep adding reinforcements. If the stronghold is conquered, then the others should fall like dominos but no, I'll just waste my time when I could have actually, you know, PLAYED THE GAME.

Conquest maps should just end when all the strongholds are taken. Simming the rest of the map is just a waste of time.

I actually enjoy the strategy of each new conquest map. I get that it isn't for everyone, but personally I enjoy it.

I put this in the survey to. We just at least need a faster way to sim. Let us select multiple spots on the map to sim and let it just keep going until we either beat them all or lose. Or let us select multiple spots to attack and then combine it all in to one sim. For example if I have 80 and I select 20 CPU spots that all have 1, run the sim as 80 vs. 20 one time.

It was but as a starting point I felt like there was none better than Australia. You could focus your attack while others fought it out with each other for the early rounds.

@UnsaferRainbows I'll do you one better. MtO with your DD team. Mini seasons are a let down as far as matchups and adequate stat tracking.

for me mini seasons games seems much more difficult than other games on the level u chose

I would like to just play the game OFFLINE with the cards that I want to use. No more HRs with 3B or XBH with C. Just give me program advancement for playing games against the CPU. A mini-season where I played one 3-inning game against each MLB roster would be great. I don't need a conquest map or showdown or any other gimmick. I just want to play games with the cards that I choose and earn credit toward other cards that I would like to use. Is that asking too much?

I would just play 3 inning games versus in Play versus CPU i do that sometimes when only need a few xp or stats
