What new role? Wasn't he a community person, on the forums? He certainly was early in this year's cycle.
I absolutely love his YT videos. He's such a refreshing change of pace from the obnoxious man-babies that dominate the streams.

Live service? Dang, glad he got promoted. But this year is an absolute mess. That actually might explain why he was in the dumps -- to be associated with this year's launch and "content" strategy -- ugh...

Not really an overreaction. What's weird is to be a content creator and community outreach person, say something about not caring about anything in life on a video, taking that video down, then going dark for over a month.
Just mildly curious and mildly concerned, on a human level.
