@ballneverlie yeah, it will be some rerun guy of the small pool of guards players we have. Probably not a pitcher since Bob was just in legends mini season.

Ahh I feel for you man. Been pretty blessed with cubs players so far. Hope they give you jram, I really do. I just doubt they go that route for money sake

I love prediction threads. Also, I love that TA 3 is here and it’s only May 10. I think this means we will have at least 9 of them. I get they are chapters but it feels like a full TA cycle.

I am not sure for the Cardinals.
My guess is that it won't be any of the most coveted players for each team, which means for the Cardinals, I don't expect Gibson, Musial (he was a reward for Conquest), or Edmonds. Brock just got a 97. The flashback Monthly Award card for Carpenter would be nice but he is a team captain so probably too soon for that card to make a comeback.
It could be Ozzie Smith since nobody plays with his 99 cards anyway due to lack of power. Ryan Ludwick if he is still in the game. Or just a boosted live series. Somebody like Masyn Winn or a flashback of Jordan Walkers 99 card from last year?

Man I want to get excited for this, I always look forward to these post but like 4 weeks is all we get with these players, yes wild cards but then that's a card out of your line up that impacts eligibility for the new season progress.

They said something about these new TA cards being useful a little longer outside of season 1 but they did not explain how and if it was just the wildcard slots they prolly would have said that. I am just not sure how they can since I am afraid if they mess with something they might brick the game. -- I wish I was joking but I am not -- LOL
I guess they could activate ALL the WC slots for the first couple weeks THEN introduce the wild card unlockers or whatever you want to call them. I was thinking label these cards with S2 tags then just remove that label a couple weeks in but knowing SDS the cards would prolly go bye bye and we would never see them again -- again not joking.

4 weeks is fine for me. I like the refresh of cards, sort of feels like a new game again when a new set drops, If they don't repeat guys. This set it seemed like left handed starters were the trend, i would guess right handed starting pitchers will be dropped more for set 2

@blitz77tw I'm guessing these 30 cards are gonna push a lot of people to get at least the first S1 Collection...so I feel like they'd be inciting a riot if they labeled them anything other than S1.

I was trying to figure out HOW they could make the cards playable and the more I think about it the WILD CARD thing where ALL are unlocked for the first let's say 2 weeks makes the most sense. It's not perfect but maybe the simple solution that does not cause them to have to program something in that might brick the game -- LOL

Cubs random guess is Ron Santos since his card was in the game couple years ago. Mark Grace would be cool though, or Andre Dawson. Probably be Dawson more i think about it.
