@Timinator4655 translation: you think you lost to someone using directional when in reality you just aren't as skilled as you think you are.

Idk about the differences between zone and not. But for pitching the difference between pinpoint and timing for example is MASSIVE. Timing perfects are horrible but you can tell the game is in easy mode when using timing.
As for batting I would think you're at a severe disadvantage using anything but zone. It's not that they are easy mode or cheesy in any fashion like timing for pitching but just not as effective. As long as your using PCI you're doing more skilled play type.

All the actual good players should be locked to legend. All the casual bums like myself should be able to fight it out on AS & HOF.

No offense but you really shouldn't be telling people what hitting setting and what difficulty to be playing on, we can use and play on whatever difficulty we want. We chose what we feel comfortable with using

I saw pulse pitch, directional hit, I don't care as long as you finish your darn games and stay away from the pause button.

People can use whatever input mechanism they want to play online. Maybe consider the fact that some people have disabilities and have to use timing or directional. Should they not be all to play online?

    Lol. Always with this.

The negatives far outweigh the positives for using a time based only hitting interface. I used timing and analog for years vs CPU and struggled on any level above Veteran. With Zone I hit on HOF+. Too much RNG on anything other than zone.

Some of us pause because we are twelve deep into a drinking binge. I'm not pausing to disrupt you.

Nobody good who not use zone! Zone number 1! Lol why do you guys care what input ppl are using while playing?

Zone is what I use but have you guys read the information about the hitting types? If you have then you wouldn’t be mad if you faced a directional hitter because they get penalized while using that so idk pitch better?

Directional is fine for hitting a home run against the cpu to complete a moment. It pretty much sucks for everything else. Lots of places in the strike zone you can’t buy a hit using directional.

Honestly I can't tell you how many times I've tried to switch to directional on a moment to hit a HR only to get frustrated and switch back to zone.
