There will be new diamonds so I'll bet on Will Smith, Tyler Glasgow, and Ketel Marte going from gold to diamond. Tarik Skubal and William Contreras should too, but they are both currently 82 overalls, so the jump to 85 might be too much.

Jose Berrios, Shota Imanaga, Elly De La Cruz should all go from silver to gold, Marcell Ozuna should to but once again, the jump from 76 to 80 overall, might be too much. But Elly is a 76 too, so, IDK

Gunnar Henderson and ketel Marte should be diamonds. Josh Naylor has a chance too. I would think that Aaron Judge will be downgraded.

I think unless someone is having an Epic Great start or an EPIC bad start I think the higher end players ( Judge ) will not drop more then 2 to 3 and same goes for Golds in the 80 to 82 range going to Diamond but just my 2 cents.

Summing it up is I think they understand sometimes coming out of Spring Training sometimes players can be cold so do not see many big drops ( 3 or more ranks ) -- however I think they might be generous to players in the 60 to 65 range if they are starting great might get to 71 to 73 range.

I could see Seager dropping to an 89 and Wheeler jumping up to a 90.

    William Contreras
    A Rosario
    Gunnar
    Elly
    Glasnow
    Berrios
    Skubal

Maybe even Trout, Betts, and Ohtani a little.

    @xElRojo44x-

Agree with betts but ohtani will stay same being a primary SP (or am I wrong that hitting makes a difference for primary SP?), and trout will go up power but deep in contact slightly so he will stay the same.

Just looking at the Cardinals I would say Sonny Gray has an outside shot at diamond but since he was injured to start the season he has had limited starts. His hits per nine is down slightly. His SO per 9 is up quite a bit (9.0 last year to 11.9 so far this year). His walks per nine is at .5 (down from 2.7). The SO and Walk numbers would probably be enough to get him there. But again, did he have enough starts? Probably not.

Masyn Winn is batting .299 so far so I would hope to see a decent jump in his contact numbers (currently 50 and 54). But he is a 70 so he probably does not jump to silver yet.

Most others will go down or stay the same. Arenado has his BA at 295 which should see contact numbers jump but he will be docked pretty hard on power and may even go down in overall for that reason.

Goldy could go down hard this update. He is showing signs of finding his swing as he is hitting over .300 in his last 5 games but he dug a big hole for himself that he needs to climb out of.

Pretty much nailed that prediction. Sonny upgraded to a 84. Winn upgraded to 74. Goldy down 4 and Arenado down on power downgrades.

@Dolenz64 u nailed it. I think my Josh Naylor upgrade and Judge downgrade predictions came through too. I missed the Gunnar prediction. I thought for sure he would go Diamond.
