Yeah me too, with tier 3 the reds are gonna be tough.
Gotta believe those captain packs come back sometime soon.
If they wait till season 2 to release captain packs again, that will be really disappointing

Yeah, Reds theme is beast. Only thing really missing right now is CF and natural 2B, but Steer, Larkin OP, or Elly can play there. Also way too many Corner IF.
Since collecting all Reds cards is my primary goal, I got Eugenio and Sonny for my first picks on XP path.

I'm more scared that the Lightning Card will be hidden behind a collection of season award cards that you have to buy to get.

They are not. You can look at the collection and see that not only does it specifically say "Season Award Program Players" but the only cards you can currently collect are the three previous cards from the programs (Crochet, Conforto and Blanco)

They've come out and said that it won't be, I think in a game update write-up, responding to the first drop.
What we WILL see is a pack-card collection that will give a chunk of program stars that will be optional -- meaning you won't need it to reach to Lightning card but it will help you get there faster.
