Account Reset? 4/4/24

my app seems to only be showing the "new" reset profile/account, even though I never selected either of them on here. Oh well, guess I'll play a different game and submit a refund request

just had a looked on their twitter page, they tweeted a message regarding this issue so at least I feel a little bit better that their working to sort this out, hopefully all get us stuff back and go back to normal issues like glitches, connection issues and online lag time lol

@SB24akaLacazette nah that’s just an auto tweet to save face when they have served issues. Doubt they’ve made any progress. They messed up big time on this one and are figuring out how they can solve it while not having to spend any effort or money

@SB24akaLacazette yeah this one is the worst I’ve experienced to date. If they actually deleted peoples accounts it might be the nail in the coffin for SDS. People don’t care about the money at this point they just all the hours they spent back

@xxfrystealerxx sorry just saw your message yea the companion app has all my stuff and history when I got all the stuff but game doesn’t it ask me to go through terms and conditions. Even went through unlinking and linking accounts back up nothing sorted it. Even tried from some YouTuber to reset my router but same [censored]

@SB24akaLacazette yeah I think my issue is that I did accept the terms and conditions and "create" a new DD team when it happened because it was late and I was just confused as to what happened. I had just finished a BR game and went to start a new one and was getting the "team not found" error and then the game froze. I dashboarded and closed the game, launched again, and saw the terms and just figured they updated something as it was just about midnight for me at that time but once I saw the tutorial and first few missions with 0 or my ~109k stubs I knew something was up. Guess I might just be screwed then?

do not try resetting or relinking accounts. it should fix once they have it resolved and they will probably roll out an update on this for everyone. just gotta be patient

@xxfrystealerxx Hey man I did same thing, booted game at like 5am for one quick game (needed 1 pitcher inning to 100% my last TA, NL central) and saw the terms, figured they came with new ones (which some games do sometimes). And now even after relinking and I can see online I have the stubs and players, on my PS5 it won’t link to that account. If I were to try to link from the PS5 then it tries to link that new blank account with online, which would have appeared to create two blank accounts which I luckily didn’t do. I tried reinstalling game but it did nothing. Probably will have to wait weeks for ticket to get resolved since their relinking fix seems to have worked for most ppl. I’m guessing it’s still only blanked out for those of us who logged in or already playing when this happened early AM or whenever.

Can somebody please find a new market exploit so that we can verify that SDS knows how to fix things? It'll be patched literally in minutes.

I'm honestly just depressed- i was having fun with this game but just cant do the time/money again it's just too much to ask

@WhiskeyOne yeah man it sucks, hopefully they work it out soon or refund us if they can't reverse it cuz idk if I have the desire to start over after grinding for 3 weeks already. And I'm sure there are many people who have grinded way more than me who are probably worse off, but I had all programs done except for the new one and like 20 points left on the BR one and there's no way I wanna do alllll that again lol

I kind of wish it happened to me. Then I'd just put in for a refund and be done. This game is 80% meh/disgust and 20% enjoyment. But I love baseball and I like video games. Well.

@Sngambit- i didnt select the account they recommend because a prompt told me that if i did it would reset my progress.
Chose the other and both are now gone, have heard from people here that those who chose NEITHER have had both wiped

@Sngambit- here's my issue with this: when my account was still showing up last night with the correct stubs and level, that was the one that had the disclaimer below it "selecting this account will reset", and the other one that was at 0 had no disclaimer. Why would anyone in their right mind willfully pick the account, even if correct on stubs and level, when it comes with that warning of resetting everything?!?
