I just take one win then forfeit and start over so I don't have to play higher ratings

There have been people who have said that they do that. There was one player in previous years that would play until the ranked games got to too high a difficulty and then would just quit out of like 10 games in a row so he could beat up on the lesser players at a lower difficulty.

Technically I think it may be against the rules to do that if SDS wanted to enforce it.

I personally don't think it is a good idea, mainly because it is unfair to those who you quit against. They are getting unfairly boosted up and then having to face competition that they may not be ready for all so you could make it easier on yourself.

One win really does nothing to your rating. It isn’t until you go 4 or 5-0 that it actually makes a difference and starts you around +1600. On top of that if you lose a game you go down to the 1300-1400 range unless you are like 8-1. So if you match right away you will play another person who has already lost.

If you are just loading in at base 0-0 1500 range the other guy is going to be as well, and could very easily be a really good player.

@Dolenz one win is never going to boost you into a unprecedented skill level you’ve never seen before. But if you played online you’d already know that.

Thanks for that info. I still think it may be against the rules and I still think it is a bit of cheesy thing to do.

@Dolenz he isn't saying that he plays another opponent and gives them a free win....he is saying after he wins one, he forfeits his run so he starts the run at 0-0.....he doesn't get a loss , the run just starts over ....its the same as if you lose a game in br and want to start over

Every time. I’m usually working on a particular starter’s XP so then I can also use them every game. That’s how I have a P4 Chris Sale already…
