Game crashing PS5

I haven't had any issues with crashing as of now (knocks on wood). I play on PS5

I had this last night - Played for about an hour of Diamond Dynasty fine after which, when starting an exhibition game on an opening day live start (Brewers @ Mets), I played three innings and got a crash (the dreaded CE108255-1). Reloaded the game, started the same exhibition match from opening day straightoff from the menu, crash at the top of the third inning again. I followed the instructions on Sony's website (reinstall game, clear os cache and rebuild database). I haven't had an opportunity yet today to retry.

@ZD_of_Salzburg once you start getting that error message factory reset and reinstall everything.

@Jungaro07 It’s really dependent on the cause of the error. In my case the error is caused by using the daily lineup to play an exhibition vs CPU. Doing so crashes in the bottom of the third every time, but a normal exhibition game works fine. Reinstalling the game and rebuilding the database had no effect here because it looks repeatable by others and is not happening in any other games for me. If you’re getting this error in literally random times and multiple games, then yes you might need to reset.

I'm on PS5 and my game crashes every time now.

Yes I've also had my game crash multiple times. It has only happened when I try to play a daily lineups exhibition game. I've tried playing my Tigers opening day match-up against the Sox 3 times now and it always crashes in the 3rd inning

Mine is crashing also during daily lineups on PS5 always during bottom of the 3rd. I uninstalled and re-installed the game and it's still happening. Sony fix this.

Getting closer did all the steps Sony outlined now I crashed in the bottom of the 4th instead of the bottom of third

@antler242019 I haven’t been able to finish a daily lineup game because it’ll crash in the 3rd or 4th inning and most players are announced as being their first time in the majors

@jaserino I messaged emailed Sony support but yea it’s only on daily lineups for me too which sucks cause I play that the most. Has your commentary been saying it’s the first time in the majors for a lot of veteran players?

No issues on Xbox plus it’s on gamepass. Consider playing it there for the best experience.

@Tylerslikewhoa_XBL including Daily Lineups exhibition vs the CPU? It's interesting to see how consistent the problem is across platforms. @Mr_HaYsTaCk_PSN I too get a lot of "It's his first at bat in the majors" commentary for most at bats when attempting daily lineups, which is very weird. I think there is a roster bug for the daily lineup rosters.

@Mr_HaYsTaCk yep; not only is daily rosters crashing every game but the announcers have been treating everybody like rookies

@Tylerslikewhoa Cap & not the time for console wars; I've seen an equal amount of XB users complain about the same thing. Daily rosters is screwed across platforms

@GhostDog 2.2 rating on Xbox man. It must be a good game there. Try to switch.
