SDS not taking accountability

My guess would be because its a "buyer beware" kinda thing. "I dont like it" generally isnt considered a valid reason to get a refund anywhere. You cant go to the movies, sit through a 2 and a half hour movie and demand a refund afterwards because you didnt like it. You cant order a pizza, have it delivered, eat half of it and ask for a refund because you didnt like it. Just like you cant buy a video game, play it for 2 weeks and decide you dont like it.

@DoIHearBossMusic Sony will give refunds as long as the game hasnt been downloaded and played. I think they do a one time refund if you have played it though.
I had to refund a game before because it was in my cart when i pre-ordered something else. I contacted Support right away and was refunded within 3 days.

If it's already downloaded; they'll refund you but will also lock your account

@x814xmafia ive personally never heard of that before but i know they used to give you one freebie like if it was a preorder, downloaded but never played they'd refund it one time only

The only way this company would get the message is if a majority of people dont buy stubs for a weekend.

Since it's already downloaded; they can't delete it from your Library. So you would still have access to it. That's why they would lock that account.

@borderpatrollin You said you played BR.....genius. That kinda means the game is working. And apparently you've been playing it for 2 weeks since you got pre-order.
Also...you said "people wanting refunds due to just hating the game". Kinda looks like you played it for 2 weeks, decided you didnt want it anymore and now you want a full refund.

Nope!
Game usage is the most important metric. And if you’re still playing, they could care less about stub sales.

@borderpatrollin what's not working exactly? Sounds like you want a refund for a game you played already...which has never been a thing you can do, even when it was disc based games.

You have to report this through the bug report not on the forum itself.

@borderpatrollin Cool story. Im sure Sony or Microsoft will care enough to dig into your game history to find out if you got credit or not.
Also, im calling BS on this one. It took you 10 games to realize you werent being credited a single win? Ok...

It’s the same thing every year now. It will not change until YOU STOP GIVING MONEY TO COMPANIES THAT DONT DESERVE IT.
What in their pre-order information showed you that this company actually put time in and used their profits to create a better product? NOTHING. Didn’t even want to spend to get better new legends.
What did you expect?
Yeah SDS should take more accountability but the customer base needs to as well.

SDS has nothing to do with refunds. That would be whichever platform you bought the game on problems.
