XP Cap affects Online Players the exact same as Offline. You realize that right. In actuality, they'll hit the cap first because they're receiving XP Multipliers while you're playing on Rookie. All the extra XP is earned through the program which isn't effected by the XP Cap. The whole idea behind how XP works this year is that everyone still has the opportunity to earn all those high end 99 cards. Offline and Online alike, but online players have the opportunity to earn them faster. It used to be that the only way you could even obtain a lot of the high end cards was to play online and actually win. Now, theoretically, you could go in to ranked, set your controller down and collect innings and eventually accrue enough points to collect those same cards that they're actually trying to obtain by winning. It's the second week of the games life cycle...they're going to be tons of programs offering tons of XP that won't be affected by the XP Cap. You'll get your 3 99 boss cards. You're just upset that you can't have them tomorrow.
Online players are not affected like offline players because they are getting way more xp in programs, which is the exact point of my post
SAY IT WITH ME NOW!!! XP FROM PROGRAMS IS NOT AFFECTED BY THE XP CAP! They're receiving more XP than you because they're CHOOSING to play a mode that you're REFUSING to play.
You're complaint isn't wrong...Yes Online players receive more XP than Offline. But the XP Cap has nothing to do with that.

@Doctor-Fauci910 @DivineFury75_PSN
Really boo hoo to both of you. The OPTION is there for you to play. Are they supposed to block off a section of their game and make it for offline players only?
If you're a vegan and you go to a buffet that has food options for vegans and carnivores, you have the option to eat the burger. It's your choice not to. That also applies here. You have the option to play online but you're making the choice not to.
-
@DivineFury75 You're asking for an offline program to grind....but you do realize that online players will still have access to that, right? They're still gonna get more xp than you.

@Easy_Duhz_It_ stop being deliberately obtuse.

This doesn't hold water. They gear everything to online. If they are not blocking off Offline players and giving advantage to Online players, then why do Online players get credit for offline programs by using the correct players but offline doesn't?

Like I said, I do the programs and am good enough at the game to complete them. I just have sympathy for people who aren’t good enough at the game to compete online- all the XP they’re used to getting from grinding is gone, and the game is now designed in such a way that they will be behind online players in the XP path. The option is there, sure, but if the only purpose they will serve is getting beat up on by goons farming 10-0s, they’ll just turn the game off and I don’t blame them.

Not if they made it conquest or mini-season like I requested. Most online players won't touch those modes anymore than most of the Offline community won't touch Online. Most, not all

Addition of programs with XP rewards is gonna make or break this situation. I’m not an online player. I don’t enjoy that with the times I get to play after work. I want to keep it casual. Last August I took about a 3-4 break from the game for the first time in many years. It’s just gotten tedious and boring because it’s always the same game. Nothing much has changed graphically in years and years. I’ve already completed the live series, but I may not make it to the summer this year if something isn’t spruced up. I didn’t care for the seasonal set structure and really don’t even care about TA (at least was easier this time), but I keep coming back in hopes of changes. Hope just keeps dying though. Oh well.

Some people just assign too much value to how good they are at a video game.

@Doctor-Fauci910 He must’ve just watched “Shawshank”. He said OBTUSE.

I am an average player at best, but play quite a bit online. It is significantly more enjoyable to be versus playing against the computer. Even if I get destroyed, it is better than just beating up on a computer. The last two years of this game were 100% catered to offline players. I spent countless hours doing meaningless offline tasks and was left with hardly any time for online play. This is the first year I feel like I have been able to just load up the game and play the game. In my opinion, it seems that you get rewarded for playing...not manipulating.
I haven't paid any attention to the XP caps as I have just been able to play the game and have fun, but I will say that I think a daily (or weekly) XP cap is needed. If not, people will just load up CPU games and play at max elevation stadiums for the simple purpose of getting more cards.
-
If you want a great way to get online XP, as an offline player, turn off crossplay, go into co-op with a friend on the same console, and grind innings. Seriously, give it a shot. Sure, you’ll lose some games, but you’ll win some too. When co-op is working, it’s the most fun, low stress online mode in the game.

So everyone should have to play your way? No, thank you. I would much rather they do what they say and let everyone play our own way. There should be multiple roads to the destination.

I’ll offer to play co-op with any player on here on PS5, especially if you don’t play online. I’ll do it with you. Hey, I’m not great, but I can hang, and love co-op. Add me on PSN, and we’ll get you so XP

Nobody I know plays this game anymore. Right or wrong, most tell me it's all about the shop and buying packs and stopped playing

Your offer is very kind, Let me think about it, ok?

@Doctor-Fauci910 Oh yeah? It would probably surprise you to know that im a mostly offline player who rarely plays events and BR. I havent touched ranked in about 4 years because a 9 inning game watching people bunt dance and pause every 30 seconds is brutal.
But what i also dont do is cry in the forums about people getting more than me in a video game. Because im adult enough to know that i have the OPTION to play online if and when i want to.
-
if i want to grind to get rewards quick in a game i paid for i should be able to, the xp cap is just ridiculous
