Helluva lot more packs added to the store than actual content added to the game so far. It's early but also clear where SDS is headed. It was blatanly obvious last year and they're only going to keep pushing in that direction.

I am not going to disagree with the OP but they did the same thing last year and for the most part we got a solid amount of content. I realize it is easy to panic with the state of the game but let's give them a little more time to fix it and then we can revisit this topic.

Sorry, but if it's like last year's egg hunt, I don't really consider it a program. Anyone who doesn't play on-line can't possibly complete it. Really goes against the "play how you want" talking point.

That said, if this all didn't make them more money last year (just like this same strategy makes EA more money), they wouldn't be repeating it this year. So, for better or worse, this is clearly the game the user base wants, voting with their wallets.

@energystar157 I’m sure that’s how they see it with how out of touch they are. But people are really just voting with their addiction and SDS is taking full advantage of that.

Egg hunt was easy last year. And i don't play online either. It was like hit a HR in Ranked, BR, Events. Get a couple wins in BR/Events. There's nothing to spend stubs on. It's really not that hard to go online and hit a fluke HR or to even win a game. May take a few games to actually do it, but not hard. Hardest part of Egg Hunt last year was knowing what actually counted. And there were like a million videos all over the internet after day 1.

You and I define "don't play on-line" differently. I don't give Sony money for PS+, therefore I don't play on-line. And I'm not alone in that.

This means you only play franchise and RTTS with the base roster at launch and don’t do any programs. Which makes one wonder why you care about a post about lack of programs?

Nope. You can play DD without PS+. Just not BR, RS, Coop or Events.

I just want more cards only obtainable by putting in a lot of effort into the game. It used to be so satisfying to finally finish a big program/collection you've been working at for awhile, and then knowing you can immediately move on to the next one. Now you can just buy most of the good cards in the store.

Working at some of those programs for weeks at a time was overwhelming at the time, but I'd 100% trade how the game works now for it.

@energystar157 No, your not. There is like 4 of you guys that won’t pay for PS+ but play the online content of a video game because you’d rather wait for the Devs you won’t support to release cards through programs you could literally just go add to your team offline.

If only we were all this smart.

Here is the thing programs will be shorter and quicker this year because all last year people complain it was to grind heavy so don't expect anything to involved this year

Personally, I think this yr's version is less PTW than ever before. With the addition of cornerstone captains, and team captains, u can put together some great hitting lineups without having to spend much stubs at all. I made roughly 220k just from grinding everything.
Hitters: I purchased Baez and Willie Castro.
    SP: I purchased Donaldson, Santana
RP: Purchased Bautista, Hader, and Andrew Miller.

Captains, I chose a Buxton Build. I took Adam Dunn and Bard. Filled my team with the best possible Buxton hitters.

The only players worth it from P2W is Babe and Pedro. That's it, imo.
So no, I don't feel the game is p2w this year.

The MLB season hasn't even started yet! (Except for two teams, of course)
