What’s good?

I see a lot of posts moaning.
But what is good about the game?
I haven’t bought it this year but just curious if my mind can be swayed by the positives?
So hit me up!

Game is very enjoyable, it's back to a more traditional DD style with low end diamonds to start. Lots of options to play and earn packs
There is a xp cap not sure the number I hit it but could careless and kept playing but I know there are players all in their feels about it.
I like it's visual I perfer the brighter UI
Gameplay is solid but it seems like pitch speeds are slower this year but that could just be me.

Wondering the same thing; skipped last year (no regret); the thing I liked less and less was the tons of content locked behind endless, boring grinds (Moments and Showdowns), and the time constraints on programs making it impossible not to fall massively behind if you take a couple of days off (TN then MA was hopeless). 19 and 20 had the best structures; 21 started to feel like content overload with the stat missions, and 22 killed me.
I got the itch, but I'm weary...

@yankblan_PSN it’s a lot of the same endless grind IMO that takes way too long. With warmer weather coming here in the northeast it’s hard to dedicate 40 days of my life grinding a game like I did in 23.

I've only scratched the surface so far.
RS - my first game was really smooth. Weird thing is I got the loss after being disconnected. I've never had that happen before. I'll chalk it up to first-weekend-server-jitters.
BR - I won't jump into this until the streamers/WS players plow through their first 10-0 runs. I am excited that they changed the 9 win reward down to 7. I should be able to get that once in a while.
Parallels - they lowered the P4 and P5 down to 4,000 and 8,000 points, respectively. So, that's good.
Team Affinity - there are a lot more options to get points via online play, so I'll play more RS earlier this year.
As usual, there are the normal "kinks" during the first weekend. They'll get worked out like they always do. Hope to run into you again this year!

Man it's hard to get a good opinion here man. You got the usual suspects that will fall a die on the SDS blade no matter how bad the game is, and vice-versa. As ya can see right now, lots of people complaining that you have never seen before on the forums so there is that. I haven't played it much, its just kinda boring to me honestly. Guess last years game still had bummed out that i don't think SDS is going to have me as a customer after this year

I enjoy content very much. It starts slowly with TA (saying after 2 days) but it is really fun to play with <90 overall teams against … <90 teams.
Pro Parks seem to have higher exit velos, very good.
Hitting seems the same, pinpoint is hard to re-learn again with lefties …
Overall: Very good, although I have not pulled a diamond out of > 80 packs … but I got the Headliner-Mickey -
They good is heavily out weighing the bad and it’s not even close.
Lineup diversity is probably going to be the best it’s ever been, at least for a while. You can look through TA and the collections all you want, nobody is a MUST have player that you are hurting yourself by not getting immediately like previous years. It’s extremely balanced, I flip flopped 10 times before deciding which Division to use my vouchers on. It’s more about who you actually want to play with and not being handicapped by picking
him this year.On top of that when you actually earn or get a Diamond from a pack, he is going straight into your team. You aren’t grinding for 10 diamonds just to get one that is actually usable in comparison to what you could get for 12,000 stubs on the market because it’s so flooded.
Progression is miles better as a whole, showdown isn’t worth as much, because it’s been made much much easier. I actually really like showdown down so this is my biggest complaint. However I can earn 3x what I can earn from showdown doing missions again….FINALLY. Online, offline, team based, difficulty based, they finally have everything again, and it’s actually worth the effort because it isn’t one worth next to nothing. 6 hits on legend gets you 30% of what conquest does. But if you can’t play legend they still have HOF or AS missions.
Seasons are still here, but the final part of every season doesn’t expire, so you can always go back and earn the best cards from the seasons so if you do miss out, it’s on the henchmen not the best of the best from that season, and we get more wild cards, so again more diversity going forward.
I’m really struggling to find big negatives and this is from someone’s who account has been banned for like 3 years and not because of “Ross and Rachel”
My big fear is they just thought 1 million sounded like a cool number so they decided to use it. 1,000,000 xp is absurd.

Yes the power creep is good but let’s talk negative’s. Two way player glitch is back, it’s a homerun fest which isn’t enjoyable. The corner infielders are vacuum cleaners, freeze offs are a continuous issue. I can keep going but hey they made players long hair flow
