Especially with the bosses in the xp path being some of the only day one 99’s. Yes there is a path on gameplay XP only.

I think the real question here is how'd you get 40k xp in 8 hours

Not that I’m a hater but some people like myself get 2 hours a day to play they want to make the playing field even.
I see arguments either way.

They must have lowered the cap -- if I recall the old cap was 60k so if this is true this is kind of annoying to me and makes me wonder if they lowered it out of the jump to prevent XP hacks from running wild ( if there are any ) just speculation

LMAO, look I get it, you wanna draw out the grind, and kinda level the playing field. But 40k on a double XP weekend is EASILY achievable in approximately 3 hours of vs CPU on Allstar or above and I say that as a guy who gets maybe 2 hours a day to play. SDS is approaching EA levels of self-foot-shooting really fast. That's WAY too low of a cap. I would think 80k would be ok even for the hardcore gamer

I hit the XP cap myself. I've played a bit of RTTS, starter showdown, and starter conquest. I have never hit the XP cap before without double XP.

Ugh if that's the case...its Day 1 of early access but holy god, the server problems already, the lack of any significant updates to SC, the xp cap so low someone like you or I can hit it in minimal time...its coming across as a bit of an L almost instantly

@Sarge1387 well I wouldn't say minimal time. I've not slept yet!! Been going at it since midnight. Yes I have a problem and nope I'm not going to do anything about it.

I only beat the Starter Program and 3 tutorial conquests and I at at 50k cap

As the OP of this, I do the same thing every year (but will compare to last year for this). I immediately did the Storylines, both Negro Leagues as well as the Jeter; then did all of the Afinity Moments; I then did the starter and Spring Series themed showdown. As I started the Afinity Showdown, I got the pop up of “No More XP for 8 hours message”.
I was able to do the Storylines and Moments in about 4 hours playtime. Then the Showdowns were both fairly quick. I would say it was about just over 5 hours to “max out” xp. I was then surprised when I went to look at where I got to, as I hadn’t even opened any packs or anything yet (as I usually save them up and open em all at once). Last year, on avg, it was around 87K xp daily limit. That’s why I was shocked I hadn’t even reached 40K! -
My cap is stuck at 25,500. It needs to be increased

I am starting to wonder if the XP cap thing is bugged IF everyone's number is even semi accurate cause I am seeing a decent variance in the numbers being reported.
After they get the server stuff fixed would be nice to see if they could clarify what the XP cap really is but again prolly asking for too much -- my bad
