Returned a server error first time opening the game 10 min after unlock and they are just swapping error messages at this point. Debacle.

Yeah sorry you're right, the account I'm viewing looks like HR Derby mode now (thuuuuney), but he was inside DD menus a short time ago when I first posted -- I haven't been able to get inside anything at all yet. Some players here are reporting packs they've been able to open, etc. Again, zero joy on that.

What is their to maintain server wise when the game just came out? This is not fair to the folks who paid for early access

Man this is taking forever. Glad we paid for this. But true, it literally happens every year. But usually you can get in for a while. This has been steady down for last half hour.

Everyone who paid for early access should be gifted stubs. I have to work tomorrow but stayed up late to start the grind and SDS can’t get their [censored] together.

I get what you’re saying but there’s also this process referred to as testing. They knew the rollout. They knew the number of early access copies out there that could be logging on.
