Anyone else dissapointed with MLB adding only about ten new legends? No Arod, manny, Tim lince, mark tex
Really only decent players are Gibson, Santana, and beltre
No Ted Williams, Ty cub!

Well we got Johan Santana and Rafael Palmeiro anyway. And Bernie, Paul O'Neill and Pettitte. I'm happy with that.

I think they are definitely saving the big name for the stream later this week.
Also, in previous games they have dropped new Legends out of nowhere during the season like Larry Walker and Honus Wagner so it has been done before.

Well since there are repeats in that Video (Henry Aaron, Satchel Paige) it may not be showing all new legends. It did say unlock 190+ legends. I don't know how that compares to The Show 23

None of them really move the needle for me although a few are interesting.
What is kind of interesting or baffling to me is that we get Andrew Miller just two years after he retired so there is obviously no 4 or 5 year waiting period like some have suggested in the past.

I love John Kruk. I'm a huge Phillies fan and love when he's doing the game on TV and now can't wait to use him in the game

@SakAttack87 I can see them dropping the "big one" right before Friday. I still think A-Rod is coming. That Kingdome tease at the end of the trailer could be another hint.
They didn't really have any particular player stand out in the trailer like in the past.

From a marketing standpoint it doesn’t make sense to drop a huge name right before the game comes out when they’ve said preorder over 100 times already. I’d expect a they’d be on the cover of one of the covers like Jeter.

I'm not disappointed. Some solid names announced today and they likely still have more to be announced later.

I think they could absolutely use him as a tipping point for anyone who is maybe on the fence still. Love or hate him, A-Rod has that kind of marketability and name value especially with the casual baseball audience. The majority of those who already preordered the game were people who were always going to get it especially for Early Access.
Holding off on a big name like A-Rod this close to release is like an ultimate impulse buy at a grocery store. One of those really tempting treats that stare out you the entire time you're on line about to check out. Like a last-minute adrenaline rush.
They have ALWAYS had a big headliner to cap these Legend releases and I still expect there to be one that gets announced on the final stream before the game goes live.
