What is the first 5 things you will do when the game drops?

For me:
1.) Take a look at the teams to see which teams only have golds or lower.
2.) Rip all of the pre-order packs to see if I get lucky and pick gold players from the free packs that correspond to a team with only golds or lower.
3.) Put my best lineup together and get working on the Conquest map. I like knocking that thing out early before the other game modes start bogging me down.
4.) Negro Leagues Storylines
5.) Derek Jeter Storyline- not buy
- check the forum
- read how everyone is feeling on it
- go about my day
- be happy i didn't waste my time or money on the new game

@GixxerRyder750 You're right, and I didn't mean to infer that he WOULD be, I was more suggesting guys who are like that generally too good to be gold for long. My bad for making about as clear as mud there.

That's a given. We should also start a pool to see when the first "I picked the same TA player twice" post hits. I'll go with Friday morning, 11:08 EST.

Not buy and then check the forum -- really? Doomscrolling so you can post "Told ya so!"? If you really don't care, then just do 1, 4, and 5. It's more of a waste of time to not buy and then lurk -- just saying.

Create uniforms
Checkout team affinity missions and set my ineups accordingly
Hit the USA conquest map, hoping I can get it done to get the early over priced silver and golds with the conquest 20 pack award. -

You can't. Only available on next gen consoles. He probably also gave a PS or Xbox account.

Up until a few weeks ago, I fully expected to pass on The Show 24. The burnout from all that redundant TA grinding finally hit me after several years of playing through the entire game cycle.
Then they announced the Jeter storyline program and the inclusion of Bernie Williams, Paul O'Neill and Andy Pettitte. Being a diehard fan of the Yanks who grew up on those 90s teams, they suckered me right back in.
I was a pretty hardcore completionist when it came to collections and all that in 2020-23, but my plan for this year is to be more laid back and not obsessive. My goal is to play more casually and focus on acquiring as many Yankees cards as possible. Bernie is my favorite baseball player ever so I am looking forward to whatever card we get of him from that Jeter program on day one.

Check if franchise mode on nintendo switch is still broken
There's a bug that crashes the game when you customize uniforms or logo etc
Basically you can play franchise ok but the second you try and customize your team it goes to a black screen with an exclamation symbol and you have to restart everything
I sent a bug report hopefully they fix it for 2024 version of nintendo switch

It might be too late for this game but maybe in 25s version they will fix it

The servers for 22 and 23 were pretty solid I don't recall any major outages in 23 and I only recall one in 22.

@CDNmoneymaker93 Maybe they were solid for you personally. I couldnt connect for the first 2 days of early access.
