@ChuckCLC Not in DD anymore. Hopefully this at least means they go back to the points system.

I really hope they got rid of archetypes, as well. If we want a 99 across the board player in an offline single player mode, we should be able to grind that.

It's a good and welcome change, but I chuckle at the use of the word finally. They were just joined, if my memory serves, in The Show 21 so it was only in 3 versions of the game.

Assuming that the Season Program Path in DD is XP based again then XP earned in RTTS should still count.
What is meant by "separated" is that the RTTS Ballplayer can no longer also be used on your DD team.

Ohhh ok, thanks man. I was panicking because sometimes I wanna grind but don't wanna play full games online/vs cpu so I just play a month's worth of my pitcher RTTS...

What’s the point of working on your player then? The whole point was to expand the actual gameplay between online ballplayers, not take it offline completed. The direction of the game is very dissatisfying. I really hope an update changes this. The Show is going back in time lol while everything else is advancing with time.

Personally, I hate the fact that they disconnected it. I do not play ranked games. I only play against my personal friends. Every year, we enjoyed incorporating our created characters into DD for games against each other. I think it is fair to keep created players outside of ranked games, but why diminsh the experience of using created players in DD or when playing against friends? This is a huge feature loss for us, that does impact our enjoyment. I doubt any of my friends will even touch RTTS now... there is no point.

I'm totally ok with no RTTS characters in PVP play. I due wish I could still use my guy for offline DD play.
