Physical media vs Download for MLB the Show 24

I have a Switch and for whatever reason I feel like I have less glitches when I have the physical cartridge of the game versus just a digital download. And this is something that seems to be the case with any Nintendo switch game not specific to the show. (And yes I understand that that might be all in my head but for whatever reason it seems that way to me).
My question is this: does anybody know if the MVP pre-order edition will come with the physical cartridge or if the standard edition is the only one that comes with the physical cartridge for the switch?
I really want to order the MVP edition and get all those extra treats, but having the physical cartridge is absolutely necessary for my neurosis.

ThxFrom what I have been able to tell, only the basic game comes with the cartridge. Everything else is digital. Given that, I've only played the game with a digital download on my Switch and It's been fine.

Thanks to both of you for your answers. I think you're right that the basic version is only one that comes with a cartridge. Oh well no big deal. Thx again... Very excited for 24!!! It looks awesome

Ok. So is that the only way to purchase for PS4? You can't just walk into a Gamestop or Best Buy anymore?

Yessir you certainly can still do that as well. Walmart target etc but you won’t be guaranteed a copy on the release date since others might beat ya there but yes you can certainly can go that route

That’s how games for the Switch come? On SD cards. Had no idea. Stupid question. Can you get them digitally?

Yes you can, I have a Nintendo switch lite and can get all my games digitally but I actually prefer an SD card

I prefer physical bc I play, and others in my household play on they own PS4's.

Storage wise I’d rather have a dozen SD cards over a dozen BluRay discs. I prefer the ease of going from game to game with digital.
