Why vlad jr? Why not Bo, if you wanted a blue jay?
I'd you wanted the face of a franchise, why not Julioooooo?! He had better numbers across the board.
Since the Shohei cover, it's been 2 years/games of ballplayers coming off of mediocre seasons. Or is this just a clever con to convince us to buy the premium edition with the Legendary mlb player on it?

Vlad is more of a star than Bo (Blue Jays wise) … Also you can have that special DR story around it … But, again … it could have been anyone and we would have these threads

I’m gonna say him being Dominican factored more than him being a Blue Jay. I don’t think they chose players because of the team they play for or a Dodger or Yankee would be on the cover annually.
