I’ll second what @TheHungryHole said. Most people don’t take ALL CAPS posts seriously. They usually skip those posts. I read it but I’m not most people.

If you download the API, the nationality of the players (the States for USA) are in the data. That makes for a quick easy search and/or sort.

@Blind_Bleeder That would still require using another device and the game. Not impossible yet still more tedious than them adding a tiny tab onto the filters. Don’t get me wrong. This isn’t something I’d ever use. I’m just saying I can see it being usable for people who wish to make a WBC team. I doubt people from Venezuela (to pick a random country) need a filter to pick their countrymen.

Pretty much a moot point anyway as the tournament is played every 4 years; s they probably won't have anymore WBC content until then.

They might not do anything but people will make their own uniforms for these WBC teams. They did before MLB23.

There are (was for 23...24? Who knows?) other uses than WBC. Like Captain's cards that boost players from a particular country, or state, etc. The API is always handy to have around because of all the info it contains.

Remember guys that the WBC is not played every year, we also know that it is every 4 years, but we create uniforms, team names, etc. But it doesn't hurt if you create a Chinese team you want to look for the Chinese players that exist, because there are thousands of players from all countries that we don't know the names of or where they are from. Not only do you have to use the stars because yes, that's why I already know where most of them are from at this time, there are players that we don't know exist.

It doesn't hurt, that mlb the show 24 brings a tab to search by country, I think it doesn't hurt, this humble opinion of mine
