Looks like someone is trying to sue due to how microtransactions are handled.

Gets tossed within minutes.

lol nah I’m good

Hard pass. Definitely not going anywhere. Buying stuff for product A doesn’t mean I can have stuff for product B. That isn’t how it works.

The one thing I want to know is what lawyer was dumb enough to actually file this, cause this premise holds less water than a cup with no bottom(or sides)

This is why these companies require you to sign the TOS agreement and those are air tight

@jake98833
Its a dumb lawsuit but not bc of the TOS. They usually aren't binding bc no assent. Problem is they usually don't go that far. Looks like he 2k suit is an angry mom who's son racked up a hefty bill on her cc -
I can see both sides of this. I can definitely see why stubs earned through the game and on the market don't transfer. But I can also see why someone who say buys a hundred dollars worth of stubs and only uses half would want the other half transfered over. But I don't think it'll happen

Shame it didn’t work like this. Sony players would dominate the market forever and Microsoft and Ninendo players would never catch up. There would be players with millions of stubs or even a billion stubs while those people had 0 stubs.

That would make sense in this generations climate of (insert any demoralizing word). I for one would feel embarrassed if that happened to sds and my name was involved. Maybe they swung an missed more than usual this year but in no way is this game that bad. Just my thoughts.
