    Finest Swanson 87 speed

    Finest Bellinger 81 speed

    When did the development team and whoever does the attributes just give up? This is just sad.

    You should look up their sprint speed. I’m sure this is how the number is determined.

    Dansby Swanson 28.4 (77th percentile)
    Cody Bellinger 28.3 (75th percentile)

    What metric are you using because Statcast's Sprint Speed has Swanson at 138th and Bellinger at 149th.

    Now, you can argue that maybe their attributes should be closer together but Swanson was measured to be faster this year.

    @Dolenz I'm using the old eye test. I don't care what that BS says. Bellinger pulls up into 2nd while Dansby has to hustle. Besides defense Dansby is nothing special if you ask me.

    Well, then sure, lets use your eye test over their more reliable, scientific methods of measuring it.

    Question though, how is SDS supposed to use the "eye test" on 1200 plus players every year?

    @Dolenz I hear the argument all the time that Bellingers hard hit rate and barrel rate was down and you should expect him to regress. Nobody brings up the fact that Bellinger has a unique 2 strike approach where he pokes the ball the opposite way resulting in a decrease in his hard hit rate and barrel rate.

    My point is you can make the numbers say what you want, but I know who is faster. Like I said, Bellinger coasts into 2nd while Dansby busts it. That changes those numbers they gathered.

    @virusts Show a picture of their girlfriend and I'll tell you more. It worked for decades....

    As someone who watches every Cubs game I just think it's funny how wrong they have their plauers. Justin Steele throws 2 pitches. A fastball and slider. He throws his changeup and curve less than 1% of the time. For some odd reason he has FIVE pitches on his card. 🤔

    I just need to stop expecting realism from this development team. I mean every time I search for a game online I have to hope I'm not playing in the dark or on the moon. MLB Jams style.

    He throws the other pitches so they are there. It doesn’t matter how often he throws them. They’ll remove them when he throws them 0% of the time. He’ll show you his girlfriend when you show you him yours but nobody wants to see a picture of your hand.

    @SkunkyTrees1977
    You’ve hit it on the head. It’s a “simulation” but only in the context that is convenient to keep us playing the game and chasing cards.

    For realism you need to play Online rated. None of that exists in a game mode where Trout can hit 3rd and Babe Ruth 4th.
