126 orders for 1M 5 mins after release. That says a lot all by itself.
-
I wonder how many people are going to waste all their stubs. (like me)
-
It's pretty ridiculous that Harper is 1 million stubs, there should be no more 1 million stubs players in this game, it's more and more catering to people who actually spend money in this game and that's not right, I've opened nearly 50 chase packs this year and have not gotten ANY of the featured players
-
If you have opened 50 Chase packs, you should stop spending $75k on the 50 pack and save to $1M
-
I I haven't bought any 50 pack buddles, I get chase packs in the standard packs, and from collecting cards in set 4, and from the wheel spin so don't assume that everyone buys packs and wastes stubs, I would rather buy the card it self but not for 1 million stubs
-
Agreed. I wish the cap for players was much lower like 250-500K. Make all players affordable. Nobody needs to squirrel away 10M stubs by flipping non stop or being elite and selling rewards for 1M each. If you are great at the game you will still acquire the best cards faster and cheaper than the rest of the player base.
-
Yea a cap of 500k would be great

They had a cap and people complained so it was removed. Now they have one which is 1 million. I’d like to know if non active players who have cards for sale have those cards purged off the market or do they remain forever up there? In case I don’t make sense. I put Set 1 card on there for 1 million stubs and quit playing the game. I never sell it but can’t remove it or lower the price. Does it stay there forever?
-
I’m sure the people who complained were the elite players complaining they couldn’t get their 1M stubs. As for whether orders remain or are purged my belief is that if you post it then it remains until you decide to remove it. I could be wrong but I think buy and sell orders stay posted unless the player decides to manually remove them.
-
They should be able to automatically purge out sell orders for inactive accounts if the marketplace is that important. I think some of those set 1 or set 2 cards are people who quit playing.
-
Yeah I could see lots of dead orders existing on people that bailed months ago. It’s interesting to think about. For the most part the market works relatively well but there are some quirks that could definitely make it flow quicker and smoother. I feel sorry for those players that are in a long line of 1M stub orders waiting forever to be filled. The fact Damon, Young and Castilla all have a line of 1M stub orders perfectly shows that no matter what card/player they release at this point people will willingly line up to drop the max stub amount on them. To each their own, I just wish there were more ways to acquire all the cards in the game as it would prevent these back orders and allow people to play the game their way while enjoying juiced up versions of their favorite players.

I’d be a liar if I didn’t admit I am in the same boat with wanting guys on my team having the best. For example I feel Shawn Green should have his best card as a Dodger for 2001. But my argument is that’s his highest WAR season so at least I can make a good argument.
