I was hoping they’d switch finest up this year and not just make it a guy from this year. So yes. This is the person I speak of.

After years of this it's no longer surprising. At this point why not just everyone a 99 and be done with it. On Field performance matters very little these days with this game.

That is why I specified a STL 99 card. I can't use his Rockies 99 on my Cardinals theme team and have him be affected by my team captain.
I'm still a little salty that SDS decided to make Goldschmidt's, Arenado's and Holliday's 99 cards all for other teams. And that it not to say that they didn't deserve those cards for those teams. They did. Holliday's best Cardinals card is a 90 though and that does not even make him a starter on my theme team.
But in a year when so many players players like Schwarber, Carroll, Marte have received more than one 99 for the same exact team, it seems like a no brainer to release multiple 99's for players who deserve them for multiple teams, especially when they have tried to promote theme teams. I am still holding out a little hope for a 2022 Goldschmidt MVP card.

id love a 99 Willson card because we need a good C to use on the Cards theme team instead of the 96 Torre card lol although id take a gorman also .. and shouldnt the captain for the cardinals be a hitter since it was the same way in team affinity 1 and 3?
