Stubs issue

Hi - I'm in the UK. I bought The Show 2022 for the Switch, brand new and sealed on release. It came with a Nintendo eshop code which allowed me to redeem 5000 Stubs. However, the code has never worked. I've just found this forum so thought I'd enquire whether anyone can assist me to redeem my Stubs?
It says Error Code 2813-0055
"The item corresponding to the code you entered is not currently available"

Could be a "offer only available in US" deal. Check the fine print.

@SaveFarris - Just checked. Nothing in the fine print. I'll try and check with someone at Nintendo as well

When you Google that it says the code expired. The game is from last year. Perhaps the code was only good for a certain time period.
Also, welcome to MLB The Show if this is your first time playing the game.

I found the answer from Nintendo. It's a US region code which won't work on a Europe region Switch. Wasn't in any small print but booo ..... never mind.

Since you’re new to the game and you’re playing 22 I’ll give you a heads up and tell you not to sweat the stubs you’ll make a zillion times more than that after you play a game or two and open a couple of packs etc the stubs flow like milk and honey in that version and enjoy it partner. I really enjoyed it too it was my first year with that one and loved it. I started after everything was all said and done just like you are and still had plenty of enjoyment. I bet you will as well
