I said Mariners over the DBs 6 weeks ago. With the Ms not making the playoffs, I'm gonna have to go with the Diamondbacks.

I’ll go on the record as picking the Dbacks since it appears they simply aren’t going to be denied. However in my heart I will be rooting for the Rangers to win simply because they’ve never won one and they are most certainly due.
The Dbacks won their first and only WS only three or four years out of their creation as an expansion team back in the late nineties and what a WS that was! That was the terrible Fall of 2001 after the 911 attacks and they beat the Yankees. They had Unit and Schill back then along with Mark Grace Matt Williams Craig Counsell….and Luis Gonzalez , who famously hit that seeing-eye blooper for the walk off World Series win in Game 7. Now THAT was a great WS!
The Rangers have had some great squads to have never sealed the deal. They are long overdue so I won’t begrudge them the victory should they win….but those Dbacks really have won my respect going up there and beating the Phillies in the hostile environment twice in a lose and go home scenario. Most impressive.

I will pick the Diamondbacks since they’re the NL team and I never pick the AL team and since I have to pick by game then it’ll be a sweep.

Thank you sir. The DBs are better than their record. Carroll could be the heir apparent to Trout. What better way to show it. The Os and DBs are showing us what the young bucks can do. Beautiful thing to see. It's also nice to see Marte showing us what he can do again.

They won 84 games and scored less runs than they gave up. San Diego underperformed them into second place. And the Dodgers suck.

I have the rangers over dbacks. Astros are better and more complete team than phillies and Dbacks so hope they win like i think. 4-2 my guess.

The pool has been updated and that puts the group evenly split at this point. We still have a few previous pool members that haven't given us their picks yet.

I haven't verbalized my pick - I just stuck it in. I have the Rangers. I've had them since the beginning, so I am sticking with them. If the Phillies would have beat the D-Backs, I would have them instead...but that's how these things go.

Since Bochy won 3 WS with my Giants, I'm going with the Rangers. My picks have sucked so far. I think I went 3-1 in the DS and that's the best I did.
