I want the Phillies to win, but I’m willing Schwarber to not hit a third home run. I don’t want to have to do that moment!
Hahaha did you hear that? They must’ve heard you they brought in Jake Cave for Schwarber lol he nearly tripled but got hosed it sounded like but hey, no 3 homer moment now at least! Phew we dodged that one!
-
LOL! I know. I was relieved.
I changed the chart already. If Philly somehow blows a 10-run lead, I'll change it, and withdraw my rooting for them.

Yup Philly is dismantling Arizona
I bet we’ve not heard the last of them though don’t you? I bet they give a better showing when they’re back at home. They are plenty good enough to tie the series at home and make this one more interesting. I’d like to see some series go the distance…we’ll see what the astros have to say about tomorrow against Scherzer
-
I agree. They will have the advantage in Chase Field.
-
If I was a teenager, I would try and get Turner to give me sliding lesson. His slides are graceful and poetic. I noticed Harper came close to a Turner slide yesterday, so he may be working on it.

Wonder if I’m the only one still listening to this game lol. The announcers seem to think so haha and maybe I am what a thrashing
I watched it to the very end buddy. Philly team is much better than last year and has way more confidence. They are beast with a Louisville Slugger

So I just discovered the “condensed game” tab over at MLB and have just crammed a couple of weeks worth of games into a few hours and I gotta say I’m delighted!
Anyways just wanted to point out what an incredibly good performance that Nola put on for us last night! He was zeroed in and relaxed (yeah, a double digit lead will do that lol) and his curveball was just incredible. Those batters had no chance. Still, I say these teams that are down right now still very much have the chance to turn things around and make for a much more interesting round of playoffs.
-
Im just glad the Astros didnt lose last night.
-
If they lose tonight then I might have to concede their chances but if they should win this first game I think they’ll flip the script I truly do.
Did anyone happen to catch that beautiful double that Marsh hit last night down the third base line? That was an incredible piece of hitting I just keep watching it. I swear I’ve tried hitting balls like that on this game and have never come close…I’ve pulled the ball similarly but never oppo

Man! You got me. I stared at your post, saying to myself "They didn't lose? Wait? Why didn't I watch that game? Wait! What? Mannnnn, they didn't play last night. That's right, they didn't lose."

Nola never pitched with a big lead, it was 2-0 until bot 6, he didn't come out for the 7th

My favorite was the lefty brought in for Stott and it's a slow chopper up the middle they couldn't get to,the inning was over, but no and they scored 3 more cause he extended the inning.

I wouldn’t have brought him back out for the 7th either with a 6 run lead and 80+ pitches lol
His three wins in the playoffs have convincing run support…7-1, 10-2, and last nights 10-0 victory makes his 0.96 ERA all the more impressive to me.
The way Ranger Suarez has been pitching…one can only assume game 3 will be a victory for the Phillies as well but I look fwd to watching regardless. It’s a terrible thought, but this is our last baseball for the year!
C’mon Dbacks, Astros! Let get y’all some wins and let’s stretch this out please. More baseball!

Curious to see which version of Scherzer shows up tonight! We’ll know soon

I'm guessing the Dodger's version...poor Rangers...
-
The Astros jumped on the Rangers quickly and never gave in. Those are the Astros we are used to seeing. I've updated the chart.
-
Okay today we have NLCS game 3 (Phillies up 2-0, best out of seven) at 507pm est…which will be an early afternoon game out there.
ALCS game 4 (Rangers up 2-1, best of seven) will follow at 803pm est.

@Blind_Bleeder
Just FYI, in case you wanted to update your spreadsheet:
My user name recorded for the DS Pool was my PSN "Einarr44", instead of my usual MLBTS forum user name of "xElRojo44x", which is what was recorded for the WC and LCS Pools.
So, you can change my username entry for the DS Pool from "Einarr44" to "Einarr44/ElRojo44x" if you need.

I'll just change it to xElRojo44x and keep it consistent across the board. It doesn't matter to me (or I think to anyone else) which one is in the chart. You're choice. I caught that you posted with your other username and figured that is the one you wanted to use for DS. Whichever Bro - I'm good with it.
