It’s probably been thrown out there already, but imagine if this issue was with PS or XBOX. It would’ve been solved in a matter of hours or there would be clear communication about what the issue is.
Feel like switch users are getting the short stick because it’s not “next gen”.
Just my two cents.

That's fine. But why multiple posts? I'm sure they know about the issue and are aware Switch players are irate; but making multiple threads about the same subject is only going to get threads locked and posters banned.

Freeze off. Have you ever thought that us venting this way while annoying is a healthier way to vent. Imagine it could be a lot worse than your favorite forum having nothing of interest for you. I’d gladly take being able to play a minding my own [censored] business than what I have in reality. Just a thought bshhhhhhhh I mean bruhhhh

I’ll counter your 2 cents with my own 2 cents. Since the OLED Switch was released it isn’t solely considered 8th generation anymore.
I’ll add that with Sony and Microsoft they’re actually dealing with 9th generation and 8th generation consoles.

Fair enough. Just feel like since switch is third in line, PS and XBOX issues would get more publicity.

Going on (and beyond) 5 full days now. This is wild. This wouldn’t be so bad if it was not compounded with the pointless need to be connected to operate 100% of DD when there is no reason to require this for anything other than online modes. I don’t think a lot of players realize this means right now you can basically play RTTS but you can’t get any packs or anything, March to October but it won’t count for anything because it will say it can’t authenticate and franchise which means nothing in DD. We keep getting notifications about post season programs and even weekly challenges that can’t be accessed. The Switch users must mean absolutely 00 to SDS. It seems like we’re going to get to the World Series and then be starting wild card round programs by the time this is fixed.

So a fix has just been announced. And apparently it’s ready so SDS will be rolling it out right no…. Oh no. We’re just gonna hold off for 7 hours? Cause if you fixed the issue, why wouldn’t you just wait for 7 hours instead of releasing the update right now?? I simply don’t get the logic sometimes

Can't wait to go back to Switch. I've been playing remotely on the Vita from my PS4 and there is a bit of a lag. I lost like 5 games on rookie during my Postseason mini season run, [censored] was embarrassing.

Just my two cents.There's that persecution complex we have been seeing since this issue began.
I don't believe for a minute that this issue is getting any less attention than it would if it was on one of the other consoles. Why? Because if players aren't playing then there is no reason for them to buy stubs. SDS wants those stub sales regardless of the console they come from.

Yep, it's now my backup to the Switch. But it doesn't connect well outside the house and barely connects well inside the house on the same wifi as the PS4. Just fired up the Switch and we are back in business after updating.
