Much like real hitting, when you’re locked in it’s like you can’t lose. When you’re NOT locked in, however, this game can be insanely frustrating. Does anyone know the secret to staying locked in? It’s like my brain just DOES NOT work sometimes. Haha

Monster, Reign, or Ghost...but that only works when I squint and look hard at the monitor 😆

    Sober: Not locked in.
3/4's to a full glass of wine: Locked in.
2 glasses of wine: Not locked in.

Have the same issue. I am 40 years old and very inconsistent. Yes I have gotten World Series a few times this year but some days I can’t barely score in events and BR. Then other days HOF is BP

I am 62 and had to take a nap even after having a Monster Ultra Zero. It was the best nap ever though... nothing like snoring away to Dune playing on the TV.

Its crazy. For me it is simply watching the ball leave the pitchers hand. And I have so much stuff going on when I play, especially against CPU its crazy. Then I just tell myself "watch the F'ing ball out of his hand" and its like a switch flips.

Also true. No beer=not locked in
    5-8 beers=unstoppable
    10+ beers=good luck me

I came to post the same thing about watching the ball out of the hand. If I’m not playing well I try to react and I’ve got no chance.

    Locked in: P/P = homerun
Not locked in: P/P is a fly out on the warning track

Haha. Just kidding. I don’t really have a trick to getting locked in. I just keep playing through my frustrations until I don’t even care about the outcome anymore.
