    He should sue everyone.

@Blind_Bleeder said in Bauer case is finally over and he can talk about it:

Public opinion really misjudged what happened here. Sure, he isn't a favorite player for a lot of people (including me), but the guy deserved to be innocent until proven guilty.

This is the case 999 times out of 1000 when it’s a trial by social media. Just awful

    Including MLB!

The Dodger's on still on the hook for his salary at least.

Wow. I was just thinking. What if his legal team scoured the internet public forums for anyone who inferred he was guilty and grouped them together in a lawsuit for libel? That would surely set a precedent for public opinion trials.

Yeah no no one would ever win suing thousands of random people who put something online

That video doesn’t get him signed by anyone that wouldn’t have signed him had he not made it and he’s more than free to sue anyone he wishes. The video doesn’t address there were multiple accusers around the country not just the one from San Diego.

These women are all gold diggers going after these athletes for their money. He got screwed over. Hopefully he gets back in the majors.

I didn't watch his video. How was he able to prove that he didn't do anything wrong and it was all her fault? I read that she chases ballplayers so I am not doubting but I just want to know without listening to him explain.

He could’ve been picked up off waivers for the minimum in 2023 but nobody wanted him. I doubt anyone signs him off that 4 minute video.

There were multiple women not just that one woman that he speaks about in the video. He only addresses the one everyone knows about not the others that were included in investigation that lead to his suspension. I assume they didn’t look up his net worth or demand money so they don’t fit his narrative.

Okay, so yeah, he isn't exactly vindicated. One group of people think anyone accused of this is innocent and being railroaded...and if it was a one off I could lean towards that. It's when you have these "alphas" with multiple accusers it's harder to defend. Guy has a reputation for being a putz and regardless of this one lady he put himself in that situation...multiple times. Any team dumb enough to take a third chance on guys like him or Julio Urias will regret it in the end.

A series of text messages and video.

Watch the video if you are interested. It is only 4 minutes long and it would take me longer to type a recap.

@Dolenz_PSN sums it up well. It just a short video which to be honest I swear I saw on Twitter years ago and texts. It doesn’t say anything that would make anyone hire him that wouldn’t want him. Throw Roberto Osuna into the pile of never gonna work again pile and his charges got dropped as well. He could’ve been had for the veterans minimum in 2023 and not a single team wanted him because female fans would revolt. As I said there was an accuser in Cincinnati and Cleveland. Neither who are addressed because I doubt they are asking for money.

That's in a court of law. Doesn't mean anything about guilt or innocence. And if your reputation and or actions can stain your employer's name, they can dispose of you.

I know of one girl who was assaulted by a (now former) prominent NHL player when he was in junior and his team visited our city. There was a witness, who I know personally. Horrific recount of the event. But, she didn't make a criminal complaint or sue, because she knew she'd be dragged through the mud by incels and trolls.

Maybe in this specific case he truly is innoncent, but I would never let a woman I know leave with him, that's for sure.

Recipe for the sticky stuff he used to help increase his spin rate in 2020?

Receipts means he has proof. Which is why charges were dropped. Watch the video.

His suspension was based on accusations of 3 different women not just the one in San Diego. There is another from Cleveland and one from Cincinnati. His video doesn’t address those women. I assume they don’t fit his narrative so he ignores them. Seems like you don’t read all the comments.

It's difficult to read a post from someone who thinks you are guilty until proven innocent. If there's a false accusation. Do you think it's fair to lose everything? And once you are vindicated, shouldn't you get back what you lost?

Seems unlawful to assume someone did something bad without evidence and a conviction.

His suspension wasn’t from that one person. Are you having difficulty understanding that?
