Conquest is Such a Joke

The bull the devs pull on this mode is enough to delete the game and never buy another one. Competition is fine. But when you’re playing on Rookie to grind stats and it’s clear that the sliders are adjusted and every game, even on rookie, goes into extras with 0-0 or 1-1 scores against garbage clubs, you know the devs are giving you the finger for your time. This game is just getting consistently worse every year. But at least we have 8 versions of the same players over and over again instead of new content players. That’s a plus.

Whenever I play on rookie I win by double digits. Check to see if your controller is charged.

Sometimes, I wonder how much is giving us the finger (we know they do because of some of the comments/jokes they make in streams) and how much is Sony or PS putting pressure on them to make the game more profitable (giving us several different versions of the same player to cut down on license costs).
Moments are another way they give us the finger. They require us to get 8 TB for just 1 point? Right.
At least in Franchise, we don't have to worry about this "new" DD nonsense.

If you're patient you'll score runs on rookie and veteran. But there's no doubt that odd things happen, like very low control pitchers dotting everything. I assume this was a change meant to deter people from grinding on lower difficulties.

Speaking of odd things happening more and more in this game, last night I got to 25K XP and a turn of the wheel. Surprisingly there was only one diamond in the bunch of golds and silvers. Before there have always been two in the last two or three seasons. In the very beginning there were three diamonds. I have spun the wheel several times here in Set 4 and always two diamonds but now one. Is that my penalty for negative comments about this year's game in the forum? You can't make this stuff up.

Play on All Star, or even Vet. Its easier to score. Your timing will be a messed up on rookie.

Is it possible that maybe rookie is too easy for you and maybe it’s throwing your timing off?

Here is something interesting - well to me anyway.
I was looking at my game history logs (because I won a conquest game that didn't count) and noticed that the level of difficulty is for pitching, not hitting.
Check out your logs to see if it is the same.

logs are different, people struggle on rookie because they are swinging at everything trying to fly through it, then blame the game for it being to hard. the whining wont stop.

We’re complaining about rookie now? Lol every conquest game on rookie I put up 3-5 runs in the first and bunt out the rest. Every single time. If you’re struggling on rookie then I would do as you say you’re going to and not buy the next game lol

what point were you trying to make? The diamonds, golds and silvers on the wheel virtually mean nothing, you get the reward thats already predetermined, the wheel is just there for looks, there could be 15 diamonds on the wheel and it wouldnt matter probability wise.
