NCAA football is scheduled to release in July next year. So SDS can keep putting out a subpar product, they will lose the community before madden comes out in august. Also so many games are being released people don’t care about the game.
Being made by EA so don’t hold your breath on quality and just how many real players will be in the game since the rumor is they only offered $500 to them.
you can always download the rosters like back in the day, wont matter to many, college football games never let down, mlb 24 needs to step up.

Same could be said for Madden back when NCAA was last made. Same company makes these games and how do you know this game will allow rosters to be inserted into the game the same as they did almost 10 years ago.

I'll probably pass. I literally cannot bring myself to fire the game up again. DD is SO played out for me. I went hard for 2 years -- really hard. Then I bailed hard at the start of Season 3 this year.
DD is a CHORE if you don't love online h2h. You can love the chore, but it's still a chore.
Content drip disgusts me at this point. Persistent monetization. I think I'll stick with Zelda, RDR2, Mass Effect, games that are complete and don't seek to string you along. Semi-excited about the Cyberpunk reboot. Wish I had an xbox for Starfield.

I must say those are some great titles you mentioned there

This is almost the only game I play , I downloaded starfield which is "ok" , I still want to finish elden ring. But I have xbox , so I'm probably going to download it for free and use the money I would have spent on it on stubs .

anyone that has played NCAA games, never plays for the rosters, could care less about rosters, the game is one of the best football games, and yes EA makes it, but it has never been madden, NCAA has so much more to do. College football revamped is one of the best games out right now and thats basically an xbox 360 game on PC.

Maybe it’s because I’m 40 and the first console I ever remember using was my dad’s Atari 2600, but I will never understand complaints about the graphics in this game. Looks incredible to my ancient eyes. I’ve been playing this game for a while, so I’ve seen better gameplay and I’ve seen much worse gameplay. It absolutely needs serious improvement, but it’s not enough to drive me away if I’m being honest.
But the content schedule has been a disaster this year. Maybe not quite enough for me to swear off buying MLB 24, but I have never played this game less than I have been playing it this year. By an enormous margin. Really hoping they return to their senses. If not and this trajectory continues, I can see 25 being a pass from me.
This isn’t enough for me not to buy the game, obviously, but they need to completely clean house in the card art department. The worst I’ve ever seen by far.

Sets and seasons are a good thing if executed well, they missed the mark on a couple things but, I'm enjoying the gameplay this year more than any previous year. A lot of people miss mlb 21 because the grind was so easy and every good card was free, I never liked that in my opinion it was bad for the game.

Your first 10 words make sense compared to just assuming EA will miraculously make NCAA good when their NFL product has constantly gotten worse. This was their first time doing something new. It’s outside the box thinking and hopefully they will take feedback from us and make it better.

Have you played madden in past years or even this year? Theres this giant assumption that EA is horrible. EA isnt great, generally no sports games are great, they are all the same thing every year, they all copy paste general things,, add in a couple features that were already in the game and people oo and ahh. NCAA football being brand new again will be nostalgia for people, road to glory, dynasty mode etc. It's going to be some major competition when it drops.

This is still the gold standard for me:
I've played this installment less than any MLB version ever. I got excited about the Clemente program, played the Showdown, started Conquest, and... fell asleep.
This game feels incredibly disjointed, random, "unattractive" (i.e. card art), and repetitive (Sets). In past years, when firing up the game, I'd get a little dose of dopamine. This year, I get a little dose of serotonin.
P.S. I do agree with @chucky97____PSN about gameplay.

Serotonin stimulates your brain and helps feelings of depression and anxiety go away???
-
I bought the new Trout last weekend and that has given the game a bit more life. It's just been fun hitting dingers with the best card (by far) I've had in 6 years of playing. That plus I should be able to get Jimmie Foxx (an annual favorite) after Friday's content. Hopefully that's enough to get me through until the postseason/finest programs.
But overall, yeah, the content has been a mess this year. Sets cannot work unless they increase the number of legends in the game by a LOT. The repetition is awful otherwise. Seasons also should be much shorter. 2 months with the last 3-4 weeks feeling barren of content is not the way to go.

I just Googled "Opposite of dopamine" and it came up with serotonin. I really don't know how to use Google properly. I should go back to AltaVista.

Maybe you are thinking of melatonin which puts you to sleep. I don't even have to open the game to feel like that anymore.

You’re assuming again about NCAA. You have zero clue what will be in this new game. As for your previous comment of rosters. EA got sued twice and lost due to using real players so yes people played the game because they got real players just not their names. Good luck selling the game on people if only a fraction of the players are real and the rest are made up works of fiction like the NCAA version of Mega Baseball.

Brother no one is buying ncaa for the players in the game, do you not understand how many people adore ncaa football as a whole? The game will be very popular as its the first ncaa game since 14, They have said those features like road to glory and dynasty are returning. Its okay to love mlb and realize they will have some major comp next summer.

If you play NBA 2K you’ll notice the huge difference in graphics, MLB graphics could be a lot better
