3 hits, 11 strikeouts, 10 runs, 1 Arenado

Since lots of people are posting about this, I thought I’d share my showdown 2nd inning experience. I started down nine against feller.
First time through the lineup I had six strikeout and no hits and one walk. Figured, guess I’ll have to do this all again.
Second time through the lineup I had three strikeouts and two hits and three walks. So, I’m sitting on bases loaded and have scored three runs. 8 outs remaining.
At this point I realize feller has a hard time throwing strikes. Third time through the lineup 2 strikeouts, 0 hits, 5 walks. Each walk is a run because the bases are loaded. So, now I’m down 1 with six outs left.
Next pitch to Albies is in the gap. Game over.
So in summary, I had a total of THREE hits and NINE walks to go along with my eleven strikeouts. 8 balls put in play total and I score nine runs. Ha.
It was fun. But, I won so that obviously helps.
Then, I pull ARENADO in my gold reward pack.

I had a similar experience the other day where I won on an rbi groundout. Maybe three or four hits and a million walks. I’ll take the win but as a strategy in a baseball video game, literally not swinging the bat is a bit silly to me.

Had a buddy that pulled Trout from a showdown silver pack yesterday. Absolutely insane.

Wait a minute. Are you telling me you can pull a diamond...out of a Silver Team pack?

I’ve seen others say they can. I just pulled a diamond out of a gold pack. So, why not a silver?
I’ve always wondered if the non sell ones from the team affinities can be golds or diamonds

Good to know, I thought silver and gold reward packs just gave out the base, didn't know you could pull a diamond from them.
I too wonder about the team packs. I assume it would be a non sellable diamond, but that would fine with me.

I wouldn't have believed you but I just pulled Scherzer from a second inning silver pack.
