@broken_toy1_PSN , and others, did y’all see that incredibly rare 6-4-3…..2(!) triple play last night? What a thing of beauty and talk about a rally killer! Still, despite this AND a grand salami by Shohei, they still managed to lose.

Speaking of defense, did anyone catch the play Vlad jr pulled off in the 7th vs the Reds!? I’ve not found a video yet but needless to say i bet the reds players will hustle out even their weak infield pop ups from now on. It was very heads up and I encourage anyone to hunt down the play in todays recaps!

And the Braves….three straight shutouts, two of which undoubtedly served as the death knell for those pathetic Yankees. Baseball in NY is a bust this year lol! I can’t wait to see the playoffs! It’s going to be an awesome, AWESOME September fellas just y’all wait and see woooooooo baseball….c’mon man I needs me some o’ dat blue magic baby and blue magic is October baseball give it to us we needs it

    https://youtu.be/u1iEgCSRsqA

PS it’s bush league because it shouldn’t happen in the Bigs but this was heads up baseball punishing this lack of hustle….I loves it

Oh yeah something else odd happened in the Braves game….the umps actually stopped play, held a conference, and made Acuña change out his fielding glove for being “too shiny”?

lol what’s next, pine tar being slathered over the glittering gold necklaces lol? Elly last night looked like he had borrowed all of Michael Phelps’s gold medals and was wearing them during the game…now HE was shiny!

I'd never seen a triple play live before! Beautiful. Rays just wanted it more. Our bullpen has been sporadic this season and right now it's a down stretch. I think it means we're out of it, but I can still hope...

Ohtani really is having one of, if not the, best seasons in the history of the game. For that reason alone, it was worth keeping him. He will always be an Angel for it.

Oh yes and Shohei could skip these last couple of months of the season and STILL be an absolute shoe in for the AL MVP…there’s no one else even close! I tell ya something else partner, and I’ve made it clear that I believe he’ll be a Dodger, but there’s a growing number of baseball insiders who are saying he’ll stay with the Angels (for some pretty logical reasons)…and if he does stay I’ll be just as happy so long as I get to continue to enjoy watching his incredible career because that’s all that really matters to me…lol since I’m personally convinced he won’t come to the Mets (even though I’m positive Cohen will offer him the most $$$) then I’d be just fine with him staying there in the AL haha

I'd love to see him in Angel red next year. Between me and you. I root for the Mets more often than not. Maybe it's the Yankee hater in me or Nolan Ryan's past, but they would be one of two NL teams I'd buy an Ohtani Jersey for. (grew up in SD within sight of the Murph) It's a special thing seeing Babe Ruth 2.0. You hear the stories, but to see it live...
